@iamseeingdots what are those keyboard guitars called that your good lady is playing. Have they got a special name. Ive seen them around and always wondered.
@@LOKI-vk5hx thanks for the constructive feedback :) Les was so excited at having found a tune on his homemade cigar box guitar, and considering it only has two notes on it, it wasn’t bad for a first attempt :) why would you think we were trying to improve a classic… we were just having a bit of fun in lockdown 😀
@@BertBeyer sorry you didn’t enjoy our cover version. We had fun recording it, and we do enjoy playing it at our gigs. Obviously we cannot compare to the original as it is an absolute classic. Happy New Year and all the best for 2025 :)
This is awesome! My Dad, who grew up in the 50s, introduced me to the original in the 70s.
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed!

@@rotunda57 That's nothing to do with Telstar though, Telstar is a song
It was a song that was written to celebrate the launch of the Telstar satellite, which was historical, it had nothing to do with Kennedy👍
@@davidjme No it didn't, but it was on the radio right at that time when Kennedy was shot. That's all I could tie Nov. 22 to.
Good version
Nicely done!! Thank you for helping to keep this tune front and center! 👍🏻❤️
