The point isn’t being able to do it fast…. Just like 99% of firearms, there’s no real functionality to their features. They’re just conveniences to make it easier for delinquents to take advantage of their “rights🤡” and get away with their crime. Why would anyone ever need a fully automatic weapon with 100 rounds in the mag and a thermal scope to protect yourself. Seems like a really unsafe country if their citizens need that to feel safe. The reason it folds that way is so the case can hold ammo. It's actually a great design, it just seems like sort of a meme as I'm unsure how well a folding gun will handle gas pressures.

You can just get a Kel-Tec Sub-2000 they take Glock mags. They come in 9 mm or 40 cal they both take Glock mags. Way more well-designed and compact then this hot garbage

I see this as a utility of solutions when it comes to storage.
You can probably fit this in a small or medium-sized cabinet if you want to.
The only downside to this weapon is the likely longer period of time to get it ready for sudden battles.
At least it is a good security measure for very young minds who somehow can get access to one (I hope).
Despite this, it is slightly overcomplicated to some people, but I call it an art crafted by its creative creator(s).

Yes, sir. I have. The french armed their paratroopers during one of the world wars with folding guns. The barrel and stock folded 90 degrees down around the magazine. The gun had a rotating bold and could comfortably be clipped onto the leg. It was a far more ingenious idea than folding a weapons barrel at the halfway point like a dingus. Its a break action. Just chop off half the barrel and fold It in half completely, have a dust cap you can place over the open barrel in the middle.
What was it called? I'm seriously curious about it. I've seen a few French WW guns but never heard about the one your talking about. Was it made in small numbers?

Well if it is the ones with armrests, then yes. Without armrests you would just have to register with the state in which you plan on sitting. You can Grandfather in folding chairs with proper providence paperwork, but if the folding chair is ever sold the armrests must be removed.

The DRD tactical Aptus feels much more convenient. I can put it in my backpack with room for a spotter, mags, and some snacks. Plus, the Aptus comes with the 556 and a 300 barrel. Kinda two for one 👍. No regrets
This design limits it to the point of a lunch box. I hope that the center handle opens up for a few mags. This would look pretty cool mounted somewhere for the Jeep drivers (yeah... I went there😏).

this thing calls itself a survival gun, so it's more like an AR7, so it isn't designed to be rapidly used to shoot someone.

It’s called a BM8 made by a company called Black Bunker and it’s an air rifle. Found some other videos where they advertise it as a survival rifle and that plastic case is supposed to have a knife in it that can be used as a bayonet.

I think that with supply of a few simple spare parts for the rifles, tanks, pumps, these large caliber air rifles might be the best choice for survival or prepper tools. But this particular rifle in the video has fairly limited usefulness and given the short range and inherently low accuracy, there are many ways to achieve same performance results with less space used! A long handgun with a folding or removable stock, for example. Savage 42 compact is a shotgun and .22. The Little Badger takes up no space and is super light and shoots 17hmr.
