I used to have hair past my waist. My aunt played a cruel prank on my mom saying she cut my hair to my ears. My mom was in tears on the phone and when she picked me up and saw my hair was in tact. She cried more because she was so upset. I’ll never understand this being a prank.

It was adorable but a big change so I did like a mini photo shoot with her after her haircut to hype her up and make her feel good about it! I would never go around getting everyone’s odd reaction. My daughter would have felt bad and I’m sure Jess’s daughter felt less confident about her haircut after all that 😔 Jess and I are about the same age but she makes me feel like I’m 10 years older than her with how immature she is 😅

The "alone in Paris" her and Lilia went to see Eiffel Tower and the Louvre - Jess was running around looking for a Starbucks to try a coffee for the first time apparently, yelling "I'm so scared" and then told the camera that she and Lilia were fitting in, not acting like tourists - they waited in line to see Mona Lisa and Jess actually says " I don't get what is so interesting about it, she is very short, 2 feet tops" She thought it was a full scale painting of Mona Lisa. Then they got lost all over Paris apparently for several hours, and she blames her phone. She declared at the end that they had been all over the city of France. She is definitely a gem.

USA does things differently and the law is 4 and 40lbs. I just kept my kids cause they are small in one till 9 and 10. Girl was 9 cause grew faster boy was 10. Actually that was to move to booster. To get out of booster in Canada the minimum age is 9 and a certain weight. So the girl hit that first and my son stayed in it longer. But USA rules are less stringent.
I got my hair cut that short for the first time when I was about her age. I have super thick hair so it puffed out really bad. I still remember going home and my sister sitting at the kitchen table with this look of absolute shock on her face when I walked in the door. These things sometimes stay with you forever!
It makes me sad that her daughter repeatedly told her that she doesn’t like it….. Jess just lets her kids make drastic choices and let’s her kids live with the consequences. As a (good) parent you have to be the one with foresight because kids don’t know any better.
I have 4 kids and I absolutely DO NOT let the younger ones copy exactly an older sibling’s look. I just say “I’m so happy you love your older sibling’s haircut so much that you want it too! I love your cut too!! Maybe next time you can get that haircut.” They usually change their mind by the next cut. I see this coming a mile away during haircuts so I have them all commit to their own individual haircuts ahead of time not knowing what their sibling picked. Maybe that’s weird of me, I don’t know but in school there was a girl who cut her hair the same as another girl, same color etc. It’s horrible to be copied depending on the child’s personality but most kids do not like their sibling copying them.

I have always struggled badly with weight and body image and having such personal details like height/weight put on the internet at that age would have been god awful, regardless of whether or not those stats were perfectly healthy/average. I like the brick walls at the side, don’t put too much on them at the top coz the walls at the side already look awesome and Kind of makes you and the back wall stand out more.. too much on the bricks at the top will be too crowded.. keep the top of the bricks simple so you and the rest stand out.. the colour of the bricks is awesome, just IMO, of course do whatever you like 😂
My husband did that when my daughter was 8 and she has super curly hair. If anyone has curly hair you know you should go to a stylist who knows how to cut it. It was awful and he felt awful and said “she wanted to do it” … Uh buddy she wants to eat ice cream for dinner doesn’t mean she gets it! It took me an extra 20 min every morning to do her hair until it grew back out and he never has taken her for another haircut (she’s now 18). 😂😂

I have 4 kids and I absolutely DO NOT let the younger ones copy exactly an older sibling’s look. I just say “I’m so happy you love your older sibling’s haircut so much that you want it too! I love your cut too!! Maybe next time you can get that haircut.” They usually change their mind by the next cut.
I see this coming a mile away during haircuts so I have them all commit to their own individual haircuts ahead of time not knowing what their sibling picked. Maybe that’s weird of me, I don’t know but in school there was a girl who cut her hair the same as another girl, same color etc. It’s horrible to be copied depending on the child’s personality but most kids do not like their sibling copying them.

Hair is so important to little girls, so is their daddies’ approval. I think the little girl knew her dad didn’t like it and that’s why she kept wanting his affection. Jess also said this was only her 2nd hair cut ever so I bet the little girl’s hair takes forever to grow. Poor baby.

My kids have always been able to pick their hair-life is tough enough with restrictions and rules-so I embrace their wishes and style. So sad that they can't just genuinely be happy for her and express how cute she is.

When my kids draw something or have something exciting to tell daddy I always make sure I whisper in his ear first to remind him to be excited at what they have to say or show him, and he always is! I have always struggled badly with weight and body image and having such personal details like height/weight put on the internet at that age would have been god awful, regardless of whether or not those stats were perfectly healthy/average. If you want to remember your kid's stats at whatever age, just write it down, the whole world doesn't need to know

Yea love the back drop Josh. I like the brick walls at the side, don’t put too much on them at the top coz the walls at the side already look awesome and Kind of makes you and the back wall stand out more.. too much on the bricks at the top will be too crowded.. keep the top of the bricks simple so you and the rest stand out.. the colour of the bricks is awesome, just IMO, of course do whatever you like 😂

My husband did that when my daughter was 8 and she has super curly hair. If anyone has curly hair you know you should go to a stylist who knows how to cut it. It was awful and he felt awful and said “she wanted to do it” … Uh buddy she wants to eat ice cream for dinner doesn’t mean she gets it! It took me an extra 20 min every morning to do her hair until it grew back out and he never has taken her for another haircut (she’s now 18). 😂😂
