A lot of changes happened to Gunung Tahan since we ventured in "Self Reliant Scheme" student group in 1983.

If not mistaken there isn’t an age limit 😊 but you start to train , be prepared first allowing your body muscles to be matured enough in order to walk n carry heavy loads. I Definitely encourage you to go for it when you are ready ! 🙌🏻 I mean , Why Not ? 😆 Tahan is so one of the the best I’ve hiked and the experience was worth it 😊
do you need to cross creek for many times? looks like it is better to wear rain boot
About 6 rivers ( excluded small ones ) 😊 we want to go as lightweight as possible so 1st day and last day we will wear kampung adidas or comfortable hiking sandals w/ grip 🩴
