If you farm in the hills there is no getting the closing wheels to maintain straddle of the seed furrow. When our conservation JD was brand new; had never planted a seed. We took it to a field with very little slope. We would set the straddle prefectly going one direction. Turn around and head the other direction it would be clear off most of the units. Never did get it right. Talked to a friend that grew 3000 acres of corn and he said forget it; just go. and we did, but always thought it can't be placing and covering that seed to get the best emergence.

Maybe you could do a vidio of adjusting the gauge wheel to the seed disk with that gauge wheel arm
