Pryvit Olga, very nice tour today! Looks almost same as old open air museum in Estonia with same construction and windmills etc. All that food for you?? Camera person with you has to eat too. Lol Molodets! Heroyam Slava!
I've watched Andriy, Olga Reznikova, and Taya visit this place before, but I never get tired of it. It's extra gorgeous in summer. Also, was that your meal alone? If so, where the hell do you put it?! You're as slender as my own sister was at your age.
It's like travelling back in time - this place (Pyrohiv - National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine) is very beautiful. Thank you Olga, for taking us with you and showing us a part of Ukrainian history. Your explanations were very interesting. I could spend the whole day there. Did you know that this open-air museum has more than 300 architectural exhibits and 100,000 artefacts? 😍💙💛
Thanks for mentioning the name of this museum. It led me to check Google Maps, Wikipedia and several other websites. I too could visit all day there. It seems they have festivals there too. I think I could easily spend a week there. The more I know about Ukraine, the more I want to go there. And thanks for supporting Olga's channel. Slava Ukaini!
@@beachbum77979 Hello, thank you for your comment. I thought it might be helpful for those who want to learn even more about this wonderful place and the history of Ukraine. Have a nice weekend. Glory to the heroes!
Thank you for showing living for about 100 - 200 years ago. That time it was similar to living in my country. But I don't think living these day at that time was peasefully. That upen air museum, I hope to see in the future, hope it sometime will be possible to trawel around in Ukraine, them I come. Best wishes from Denmark.
I loved the tour Olga. Thank you so much. It's great that history, heritage and culture are being preserved so younger generations can learn. I've never seen a musical instrument like the one you showed us. It sound amazing. Was that you singing along? You two should do a music video! Thanks for the work you're doing. It's important to me to see ukraine through Ukrainian eyes. The world needs to know more. Slava Ukraini!
The musical instrument was interesting, I have seen one kind of similar here in USA that was used in mountains regions back in 1800s by early settlers , thanks for sharing
@@olgafromkyiv Yes, hammered dulcimer. Here is a video of a woman in the US playing one at an historical village:th-cam.com/video/T0ArAf5vAZI/w-d-xo.html
I like those preserved traditional villages. This one reminds me of the ones we have in France. It also reninds me how Ukraine definitely belongs to Europe.
Really nice to see how well preserved these historical and cultural places are!! I really hope that after the war your department of tourism makes a better effort of promoting your country and all it has to offer to the world! There’s so much rich history and beauty everywhere you turn that the world needs to see and know about... Take care and thanks for showing this to us! Hugs 🤗
I love these tours of UA's villages and backcountry. Taya did one in a village during Pancake Festival that really enticed me to tour UA. The crafts and the food looked amazing. Russia is a cancer.
Your video tour reminds me of a historical site here in Minnesota called Fort Snelling, where you can tour the buildings that were used for living and working in late 1800's. There are also historical actors that show various facets of life in those times. Thank you for your video.
Thanks for the tour. Young kids must love going there. We have a place similar to that close to where I live, "Sturbridge Village" with 19th century school houses, churches and gristmills.
Thankyou, for the tour, in the village. Always enjoyed field trips into history. See how people lived, cared for animals, baked a cake or hardtack. Wonderful musician. I hadn’t heard of the straw bull story, before.
In German speaking countries that instrument is called Hackbrett. If you use this word on YT, you can see how people play it elsewhere in Europe. I liked "the chicken place" that is more like a chicken palace 😘
Ye Ukraine will be built back with prosperity once it’s fully integrated back to Soviet Union along with Belarus, Latvia , Lithuania, Moldova and additional Poland into new socialist state republic. They’ll be proud members of soviet socialist and will dedicate their life for the motherland Russia.
