- This is the webcam footage of the barge that beached itself on Kames Bay when it came to remove one of the cranes working on the flood defense project.
The first 3 sections of video are from the snapshots that are taken every 1 minute by the webcam. This shows the barge drifting on the afternoon of the 21st August and the barge ends up half way up the beach, at the next high tide in the early hours of 22nd August the barge is pushed further up the beach.
There's then realtime footage of the barge starting to drift, speeded up 5x. Finally footage of the barge being pulled off the beach by the tug boat. The quality isn't great as it's night time and there's rain drops on the camera.
