Automating Nintendo Switch with Arduino

I have a moddable switch but I don't want to because I want to use NSO with SMM2 for TAS making levels with an arduino is it possible? what type of arduino to buy?

So, say I want to automate some simple inputs on a loop for farming. Like simple "up, down, a, a, x, etc" how would you go about formatting that for the arduino? I'm using an UNO but I cant seem to get the formatting right to make it validate.
