Well I was "enslaved" a week ago by a stray who had been hanging around my house for the past couple weeks. Started meowing at my door Friday afternoon, went out and petted her/held her for about 5 minutes. Opened the front door, she ran right in. Fed her a can of tuna I had laying around, that evening she laid on my side while I watched a movie for 3 hours, went to bed and she slept on top of me the whole night. She's been my shadow at home ever since, follows me around, always in the same room as I am, lays on my lap or sits on the desk when I'm doing work, sleeps in my bed. Thank god not nearly as bad as that bengalish looking cat though, I don't have to constantly hold her lol. Glad I took her in, as she's less than a year old, not spayed and for sure would've had kittens this summer.
Thank you, for taking her in. I know they can be a handful, and they show up at your door, when you least expect it, or need it, but the love, & gratitude she'll return, will definitely be worth it. She doesn't let you out of her sight, because she's already been abandoned, at least once, and she still fears it's going to happen again. The world needs more people like YOU!!!❤️
As I observed, most of male cats are more clingy than female. I also have cats at my mom's and all male are clingy and sweet, but I can never touch the females since they dont like touching.
He looks and acts a little bit like my dad's old cat Abby. She was so cute and clingy, she slept with me when I was a baby. She died at 18 years old in 2013 I think?

They got him from a rescue shelter, he was an orphaned kitten that someone found at 3 weeks old. Maybe there is a Chase out there for you, too....go get 'em!

I go through the same thing with my cats. (Look at the tiny picture too left,) My "Chase" is named "Jinksy," a thin black cat, found as a juvenile on the street in February 5 years ago, I was lonely, Jinksy was homeless, a match that meant to be. Over the last 5 years 2 other stray cats found a home with us. "Flury" found as a tiny kitten , found in a snow storm, a female "tuxedo cat" and "BB" (ball breaker) that took up residents with us. They work themselves into our lives, I've watched Chase drive you both insane and it's hilarious! But seriously, God bless you, they ARE your children.
