+Rasha Kabso thansk! yeah sure. Two years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. it is said to be incurable but thanks to my heathy style and the treatment is now in 0% undetectable I need to keep like that for two or five years to stop quimotherapy. and a year after I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. and now all my blood test show no cancer at all. I have under remission for leukemia for five months and the other for almost a year! hope you can make him change. the important thing is to know how cancer ia fed by our decisions! sugar, processed food and animal products do!

Dairy is pretty addictive because it contains opiates, which is meant for the baby calf to become attached to his/her mother. Try challenging yourself to do just one week of dairy free. This will help with seperating you from the addictiveness as well as give you a more attainable goal. 😊

The best thing that happened to me was I no longer suffered from terrible periods. I spent a lot of my time being sick, calling out sick, pretending I was not sick, taking pain killers, being embarrassed, depressed, scared, anxious and lonely.

Yes girl ! YAAAAAHHHHHHHSSSSSSS!!!! I dropped meat, and dairy , three weeks ago today. I exclusively breastfeed my 3mo daughter , and she has started finally gaining healthy weight and is no longer crying endlessly from stomach pain. I have several life long illnesses, and was told that I can no longer benefit from medical intervention. I struggled with chronic pain, stomach issues, mental issues, and skin issues. Since I started eating mainly raw plant foods my skin is clearing, my stomach no longer hurts, no longer bleeds, and my chronic body pain is down to barely noticeable, as well as my mental health has improved tremendously! I am in awe of what a difference eating the proper foods has made in my life as well as my daughters. I'm working towards changing my entire family (hubs and three older children) to an all vegan diet as well. ❤️

that is wonderful news! I am happy for you. I have not gone vegan or vegetarian but I have cut my animal products consumptions WAY down, and cut out dairy 100% because of IBS. Someone called me a plant based reductionist lol. I changed my diet to very high raw fruits and vegetables, eliminated milk and dairy 100% but do include some small amounts of cooked grains (quinoa, brown rice, barley) and some cooked vegetables and tubers as well as high raw, but I also have about 3-4 eggs a week, with either chicken breast or salmon two or three times a week (just one serving in a day). I went to the gym 4 times a week and did cross-training (cardio some days, weights other days, intensity training on occasion) and I lost 40 pounds in 3 1/2 months. Also, I limited coffee to once a day, some tea, but increased water to 4 liters a day and gave up ALL sodas and other beverages. High water intake is key, as well as moving your body, and keeping it lower fat. I found if I do fully raw its harder for me to get the right amount of calories, though I eat 8-10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day at least, with a cup or two of beans or lentils on the days I do not eat eggs or chicken or fish. Its working for me. Dairy and red meat are the absolute worst for weight (all the cheeses, etc) and also health. my weight loss was good, my skin got much better, bowel movements better, and even my heart rate drastically improved. I think we all have to work towards more natural, unprocessed foods diet and find what works for us. But the more natural, less processed, less hormones and antibiotics we consume from foods the better. Soda is a killer, milk makes me sick, processed foods are not food.

    • @charissajohnson5174
      @charissajohnson5174 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

+adahir100 I do enjoy some cooked grains, and the occasional roasted veggie. I like warm foods in the evening so that has been a hurdle for me. But going meat free has been really easy . I was actually surprised by how easy it was. I think I was so tired of feeling sick after eating it that my body automatically associated meat with pain, and not having to endure that with every meal has been such a welcome change ! I've also noticed on days where I don't drink my 2 liters of water I feel a lot more sluggish and tired. The battle of fighting off soda has been long and hard lol I still give in when I'm having a odd migraine, but I stopped buying soda in bulk and if I want one I force myself to drink a glass of water and complete a chore I've been putting off before I leave the house to get one. Usually I realize I don't really want one that badly lol

Actually, when I first went vegan I broke out like crazy, I would get very constipated no matter how much water I drank, I had low energy, and my sleep was okay and I actually gained weight when I was never under weight to begin with. Now 8 months later, is when I'm seeing my face clear up very well, I have so much energy my body always wants to go for a run after I eat, and I'm no longer constipated, my weight is the same. No one ever talks about the "detox" stage or the bad stages but it does get better and I stayed on this lifestyle for the animals and cuz I just couldn't go back. So GO VEGAN!

    • @zoejoyblack

I am watching Kristina's channel for over a year and trying to be a little raw but i know it will take time for me to go fullyraw. I like salmon for example... and i use oat or coconut or almond milk for a replacment for coffee. I am already on Gluten Free Diet. I believe that what Kristina has to say its all good and i admire her for going fullyraw! She is my role model i look up to. I believe that diet or changing the food habits can change our health and upgrade our life. I want to feel energized and happy and one of the keys is proper FOOD

  • @palmtree2533
    @palmtree2533 6 ปีที่แล้ว

I lost excess weight and had improved energy and better sleep. I used to have to take a sleeping pill. Not anymore. What I like best about not eating meat, is that I feel like I'm honoring a covenant between myself and and the living beings that I've been given dominion over. My soul has been healing from some serious stuff since watching earthlings in its entirety and unlocking my programmed script. But that's just me. I don't judge or think right or wrong regarding what anyone else does in this matter. I'm just saying that for me, that decision turned out to be a major player in my walk. It was easy. After watching earthlings, despite how difficult it was to witness, my decision could not have been otherwise. It wasn't even a decision really... It simply had to be. Best wishes to everyone on their journey.

when i went fully raw with fruits only, I noticed an extremely smelly and greasy scalp and things weren't normal down below. When you go fully raw, it causes a shift in the normal flora of the body... i think a raw cleanse for a certain number of days per month is a more realistic approach for people, but what you're doing is great!

Veganism worked well for me in maintaining my weight. I have gained a few pounds (like 3) but I have also been training really hard in the gym for powerlifting, so it's pretty much just muscle gain. But after about six months of veganism, I have eaten literally however much I want while still maintaining my figure. And I've made more athletic progress being vegan than I could ever conceive as a meat eater.

I can 100% testify to all these points. I tried a high raw vegan diet a couple of years ago and it made a huge difference to my fibromyalgia, eliminated acid reflux and hypoglycemia and I lost a ton of weight but then after a traumatic operation that went wrong I slipped back into eating a lot of processed vegan products for ease and comfort and gained back the three stones I'd lost. After all bread, potatoes, crisps, salted peanuts, and all the processed vegan meat and dairy substitutes out there are so tempting, taste lovely and kind of make you feel that you're not missing out when your family are tucking into burgers at a bbq etc. I am back on it now, not 100% raw, I aim for 80% and the cooked food that I eat to be "clean" vegan ie whole grains, lentils, cooked veggies with as little processed as possible. It's not even been a week yet and the weight is coming off again, my skin is clearing, I don't need an afternoon nap any more and I feel - clean inside, I don't know how else to describe it. Thank you Kristina for being my inspiration throughout. I love your kind, positive, patient way of teaching.

Reducing mucus is exactly what happen to me when I stop
eating dairy and increase my raw food intake (I stop eating meat only for a
while). My digestion has been better. I
know a friend who still eats meat everyday but also eats a lot of cooked
greens, raw sprouts and berries but completely is regular! (Jealousy incurs) People’s bodies are so different and I also
think part of it is your upbringing. If you ate well in your youth maybe your chance
of having better digestion is greater. I unfortunately could not eat well as a
child so I think that I may have suffered. But hey, things are better now and
    will only get better.
My insomnia went away when I was completely raw for 3 months
and I had horrible sleep problems. It
was amazing! My skin cleared, yes, yes! I need to get back into being fully raw
    not just 60%.

Destiny Clouse I had the same problem! I researched so much about how the animals live/die and about the health risks of eating meat. I was disgusted by it, I didn't want to eat it anymore, so I simply told them I was going vegetarian. My parents accepted that, even though they eat lots if meat. Idk if this helps you at all, but that's what I did. :)
just talk to them about it, educate them a bit

Start slow. Cut out pork first then after a while cut out something else. That is what I did. Pork went first by choice then after a year or so went chicken ( I just got to the point it turned me off). I only eat hamburger meat and organic roast beef sandwich meat. The hamburger I have not had in 3 months or so. When you just start cutting back your body will slowly not have a desire for it anymore. I'm not against eating meat I just don't hardly ever eat it.

    Long post alert*
For lent season I gave up candy not all sugar but candy in particular. Afterwards I can say my cravings weren’t so bad once lent was over and I can tell you just about all candy I’ve eaten since then.
I stopped eating red meat due to it simply kept making me sick after 10-15 min leaving me in the fetal position. I’ve never really eaten pork so it’s not an issue not eating it.
I’m lactose intolerant so I don’t consume a lot of dairy either
I also did essentially a smoothie diet for about two weeks due to oral surgery. Sense then because all the fruits and veggies are things I really like it wasn’t had to consume this more regularly after healing.
I still suffer for allergies year around.
What I’ve notice is that after eating certain unhealthy foods I feel like my body is rejecting it shortly afterwards. Anyone else ever experience this?

Hey Kristina, I'm trying to transition to a raw diet; however, the number one thing that you mentioned is making it easy for me to return to meat, (I have successfully given up dairy). I'm shocked at the number of vegan videos that boast of weight loss. In many cultures it is more desirable for women to be voluptuous. I've always been curvy with a flat stomach, and love the shape of my body. Is it possible to keep the curves and adopt this lifestyle?
