Im going to show you how to use dryer sheets to get those pesky die cuts to turn loose of their super detailed dies..... without making you lose your mind! ;-) Here's how!
😮WOW😮 I think I heard about this a very, very long time ago. I’ve been making cards for 20+ years but I do not do this. So I’m wondering why not!😅 I am a new subscriber. Thank you for this fantastic tip. 💛TR
I just bought some tiny ornament dies, and tried them out. To my horror, the paper stuck so tightly, that even a pin wouldn't release the paper. I did as you said, and used 4 thicknesses of dryer sheets, and WAM BAM! Out the paper and bits came! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Was just going to throw them away. 😘😘😘
Awe!! I'm so so glad you didn't throw them away Jeanie!! This tip is a real game changer, isn't it?! I'm so happy it worked out for you. Thanks so much for your comment!
I have tried both and unfortunately the used ones don't grip nearly as well. It works better than not at all, but new is definitely better. It calls for a few of them stacked together. But you CAN use them over and over again many many times. So I just keep that on my workstation, so it's handy for the next time. I've cut probably 40 snowflakes with that one set already. They last a while. :-)
What a great tip. I don't have a dryer but can buy the sheets. Ruth down under.

Amazing! Are the dryer sheets unused or used?
Pretty neat huh? :-) The dryer sheets are unused.
AWESOME
Did you use just 1 dryer sheets?
I used a little stack of a few sheets. You can reuse old sheets for the base of the stack, but use a new one of the top.
Looks very hard to get it off the dryer sheet. You can use the sizzix release paper. It's works great
They just peel right off the dryer sheet. I've never heard of the sizzix release paper! I'll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing that info!
Are these new or used dryer sheets?
New dryer sheets work best. I get the cheapo ones from Dollar Tree.
sorry don't work for me !!
Didn't work for me.
:-( I'm sad to hear it. Did you use fresh dryer sheets or used ones Beth?
@@DanaSullivan fresh. But honestly It worked on a couple others which was cool. Thanks for sharing. I will be back. ☺️
