This is a good demonstration of the time difference between lower and higher skill lobbies. I am around 4600 rated and my first Le Mans race was 64 minutes. In shorter races with my higher skill friends, I can keep up over just 9 minutes, but in a longer race like this the gap becomes very apparent. I am sure in a 4900+ lobby I would be a good 4 laps behind by the end.
One thing I don't get is the tire wear. One set of mediums can easily go all 17 laps. In this case you run through 3 sets in 17 laps. That doesn't make sense. And this is not due to being a simulated 24h so the wear is increased due to that. The time only affect the time of day AFAIK. If it would be to simulate 24h you'd be entering the pit lane after every lap more or less. So that's why I'm ruling that out. Also, it's the same in regular races. Let's say 9 laps on daytona and you are expected to change tires after like 3-4 laps. It just feels forced. Why not have a more proper wear instead? I suppose they want people to be able to do pitstops and get that experience, if the wear is realitic no one would never need to do pitstops, more or less unless you run very long races (which is the point of pit stops, you only do them in long races). But at the same time you don't even get to drive into the pit yourself, care about pit lane speeding etc.... So it's not like it's an experience that matters much, if at all tbh. You can maybe argue that going in on lap 3 rather than 4 in order to perhaps get some free air in my example above... But even that's a stretch. I dunno. I just don't get it. And this is coming from someone who like Forza, Asetto Corsa Competizione etc. I love racing and pit stops are a part of it... But I don't want them to be forced. Then they are just an annoyance. Dunno, perhaps I'm alone in this train of thought.

I think the matchmaking problems are a bit of a blunder from turn 10 it will be resolved soon I feel along with the tyre life in the long races

Yeah I always struggle at this track, and with the penalty system sometimes can make you lose your mind, but yeah it's something for me to improve
