This is a great video, one caution I would say is when taking off the back cover be really REALLY careful as I slightly pried up on it and it cracked, spidered like glass in about 50 locations and I ruined my back cover. Other than that my repair went smoothly. Thanks again

Also i couldnt pull a back glass with suctioin too so i used blade and luckily all went well without damage and phone is like new. Thank You again for nicely detailed tut!!!!

You should also replace that adhesive to retain its waterprotection...

Thank you, friend. Was my first time fixing phone hardware, cracked the back case and put a few small dents in the battery while trying to pry it free from the death grip adhesive, but my phone is working fine again and I had a blast fixing it, so overall it was a great first time experience.

he missed one screw in the video. it is underneath the black plastic protector that has the wireless charger built into it. it is at the top left next to the flex cable for the battery. you need to remove this in order to remove the mother board.

So this worked fine to fix the charging port but now me and someone else are presented with a whole new problem which is that when putting everything back together, my phone is says "No network connection detected" Wifi works fine, but without the mobile data, i cant get calls anymore, so it seems i traded in one problem for another, so how do we fix this new issue now? I tried cleaning and reinserting the sim card multiple times, making sure it was face the right way, connecting and reconnecting the blue and white wires, etc, i even did a network rest and that didnt work, so now im going to do a factory rest on the phone and hope that works, i also bought my replacement part on ebay, i didn't check what version of it the part was, dose that matter at all? Even tried the sim card in a different phone and also said no network connection detected, so did i screw up the sim card?

your replacement part is not matching the original (ie different revision) - it might seem identical, but the small connectors are on different locations, and therefore lacking good connectivity
either find a matching connector, or try to replace the usb port itself with heat gun and flux but be VERY careful as the small components might fall off from the flex cable
