We all know that if nagato kill everyone he can bring it back using his gedo rine tensei and after attacking the Village he kill many people and resurrect after he talk to Naruto but Jiraiya still not revived why? As far as I know nagato kill Jiraiya but he can revived him?
I believe the reason for that is because nagato can only bring back shinobis he has killed within a certain time frame. In the battle vs naruto, Nagato after being defeated by the talk no jutsu uses rinne rebirth and mentions that 'he's not too late and may just make it in time'. This was for all the leaf ninjas he killed that day during his attack on konoha (such as kakashi). Nagato killed jiraiya atleast a few days before attacking konoha if not weeks (because as soon as tsunade and the others got to know about jiraiya, they sent naruto to mount myoboku to train for sage mode and were trying to decode jiraiya's message). Also when he uses rinne rebirth he uses his last portion of Chakra, therefore leading to his hair turning grey. I'm not sure if having normal level of Chakra would help him or not but one thing is for sure is that he can't resurrect ninjas he killed a while ago.
