A non-binding immediate ceasefire. Is this comedy?
It's been proven wrong and there no legal basis for saying the resolution is non-binding. According to ICJ ruling in other cases UNSC resolutions are binding.
UN can commence sanctions, and force can also be used where there is non compliance

Those voting in favour were China, France, the United States, the Soviet Union, Argentina, Canada, Cuba, Norway, and the Ukrainian SSR. By the way you obviously wont like this but as Palestine isn't a recognized UN member, so it isn't by definition a nation. (i don't make the rules that's just how it is currently)
