It's funny to see these gangsta rap fellas listen to oldies, done with real instruments, awesome vocals that make sense instead of drum beats and samples, but they don know that they're sampling this incredible music and don't even have a clue! Then they hear it and are like that's deep I mean wow! 😆 🤣 😂
This song and video were released in 1975. The video was made 6 years before MTV existed. It's the first video made specifically to promote a song. On the Queen TH-cam channel it has over 1.4 billion views.
Freddie wrote this opus in his twenties- imagine the undeniable trouble he had and so very young-. Queen’s songs are all written by the members of the band- they only needed themselves to produce greatness! I see you feel these songs- please don’t let them slip away- there are also so many ballads- and feel good and inspirational songs the produced over decades!
Enjoyed your reaction....if you listen to this again here think about this.......there are 5 parts in this song...Acapello (introduction), Ballad (confession), Operatic (trial),Rock show (acceptance) and a Coda (closing)......but a single storyline.....there are masterpieces and then there's Bohemian Rhapsody
Clearly you've heard this before, but did you know that the beautiful harmony in the very beginning (with all of their faces showing) was just Freddie on multiple tracks? He was harmonizing with himself and did a spectacular job. Also, Freddie was working on three different songs and had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece.
Also VH1. Neither would exist if Queen hadn’t made a short film to promote this song the first rock opera. Other bands copied their idea and thus MTV and then VH1 were created. Genius ripples
The song came out in 1975. Queen is a legendary group, keep reacting to them! You probably have already heard songs like "We Will Rock You" and "Another One Bites The Dust" by them.
Queen, Montreal 1981, “Somebody To Love” live. Then you do “We Will Rock You”, “We Are The Champions”, together. more Queen “Under Pressure”, “Fat Bottom Girls“, “Killer Queen”,. “Don’t Stop Me Now”,. “ Radio Ga Ga”,. “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”,. “Hammer To Fall”,. “Another One Bits The Dust”,. and many more
This band made some legendary songs, some people wrote them in the rest of the comments. But there a good band because everybody in the band meant something, they all played a role throughout their 21 year history together in the band before the lead singer died. Brian May the guitarist was known to sing plenty of songs in their albums. Especially they all wrote songs. Freddie Mercury wrote this song, we are the champions. Brian May the guitarist wrote We will rock you, John deacon the bassist wrote your my best friend (which is a song a lot of Americans know) and roger Taylor the drummer wrote Radio Ga Ga which was a famous 80s 90s song and also is the song that inspired Lada Gaga’s name
Beautiful reaction. I love how thos guy is really picking up on the lyrics. I thought hewas going to cry, nad now he's laughing at the Beelzebub part of BR.
Everyone knows Queen without even knowing they know Queen! Shows how deep they've dug into our culture, Like the Beatles. This was shot in the mid 70's. Some groups were way ahead of their time back then. Great reaction! You just got a subscribe from me.
Freddie Mercury was a great storyteller, he always knew where to put the emphasis, he could deliver true emotions and people will listen to this masterpiece in 2075 too. Pls, check out more songs from their huge and very diverse cataloge.
Nah, uh-uh, this came out in 1975, or so. This was over 6 minutes long and AM radio didn't know what to do with it. When people heard it they started requesting it more and more. Then Wayne's World came out and BOOM there it was front and center and a whole new generation of music lovers "discovered" Queen. Now it is 2022 and you are just hearing them and this was one of probably 20 hits that Queen had. Don't be afraid to listen to any or all of their other hits. Thanks for your reaction.
I heard you singing along so I am guessing you have heard at least parts of this before. Lots of people have covered this one over the years but nobody does it like Queen and nobody sings it like Freddie. Just an FYI: This video is from 1975 when this song first came out. Thank you for your reaction. This is a compilation of three different songs that Freddie wrote, one of which he wrote while he was still in school. He never finished any of them and they were all somewhat related so he put them together and created Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen has quite a few ballads so you can certainly find some stories there. There are so many great bands, and so many great songs. Queen is my favorite but songs you should react to are Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven" , Eagles "Hotel California" (careful of Eagles to find a copy that is not blocked), Supertramp "School." Anything by The Who. That will do for starters. Queen has over 200 songs in their catalog and they are the best band live so keep that in mind also.
I have neighbor who is 16 (she dog sits for me) I played her this song insisting she has heard at least some of it. And she kept saying no until "I see a little silhouetto of a man" and she went "Oh I know that from Tiktok" she does like the song, shows how it transcends age/generation

More more more Queen please!!!! I suggest suggest Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow or One Vision live at Wembley. They were an epic band, and their music is around for 50 years or so. Huge catalogue and dearly loved by many around the globe. Much bless!
Freddie Mercury had one of the most amazing voices. RIP: Freddie U R Missed 💔🔥🤘 There are so many wonderful suggestions by others that I will just suggest another band, if interested. "Chicago - Make Me Smile [Live 1970]" this band has a very extensive collection of music and they have been around a very long time. Take care and I'll catch Ya Later
Check out the Greenday preshow at Hyde Park where the whole crowd sings this song! Awesome reaction! Nice to see the younger generation enjoying this GOAT Band!! Thank you!!
Please react to “Spread Your Wings” by Queen 😊 Bohemian Rhapsody has a lot of meanings. If you take it literally, it could a be suicide song. If you likened to the writer’s personal experiences at that time, it could be a coming out song where the man he killed is his old self. It could also mean about how the entertainment industry works (especially if you dig deeper on the meanings of the words in the operatic section part). It also foreshadows Freddie Mercury’s life as whole which makes more sense if you have seen the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. The writer himself never revealed what it is all about. He leaves to the interpretation of the listeners. However, if you are going to reference the meaning of the song from the title itself then the closest meaning would be the 3rd one I mentioned I suppose.
Journey - Don't Stop Believing - live in Houston 1981 Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me Bee Gees - How Deep Is Your Love , Too Much Heaven Abba - Dancing Queen

I really like your appreciation of Queen. Once you start this journey, you will get hooked. Some people speculate that Freddie's lyrics "just killed a man" and "face the truth" refer to killing off the person he felt he had to be publicly inasmuch as he became more into men than women. He was flamboyant and extremely talented but never really talked publicly about his private life. Every member os Queen was a musical genius. I think that Freddie is the best singer of all. time and the other band members were incredible too ! Some other songs to check out: You Take My Breath Away (Freddie on piano); In My Defense; Tel Torriate (in concert in Tokyo) Love of my Life (Rock in Rio concer), with 250k in attendance); Tie Your Mother Down; White Queen (live) fantastic performance! He won all the Best Actors Awards that year!! The biggest selling biopic thus far grossing $911 million worldwide!

AcesKing704 you should watch the movie made in 2018 called Bohemian Rhapsody. It's about how Queen got started and everything that happened to them. Great movie and let's you see how the songs came about and what they meant.
You didnt hear the end, neither the gong.... or the final words "anyway the wind blows" means his life means nothing in the whole big word. Still looks this is your REALLY first time watching this video, nice and real reactions.
in an interview he explained that he wrote the song while in the tub, he said the words mean absolutely nothing beyond they fit to the kind of song( musically) he was composing, he said they mean nothing at all, basically that there is no message in it. the word he used was ( nonsense ), he did that a lot, wrote songs that just simply sold, but meant nothing personally
@@KathyCreates yes yes. A lot of artists do this. I am a musician myself and when I the studio sometimes as you're writing songs, the music itself is great but you have nothing in life that comes to mind that would fit that type of musical score so you just dream up a concept and write. Depending on the mood of the music. Freddy said there were always rumors and inuendo floating around and people ask what is the meaning of Bohemian Rhapsody, he would just say one day while lazing in the tub the words just came to me and I had already had the score composed. So he just adjusted the words so they fit the timing. Simple as that
Freddie and Queen never explained the meaning beside the song, but based on when it was written and what was going on in Freddie's life, I believe it's really about Freddie coming out in his private life as gay and killing his old closeted self. He is singing it to his mama and his family was conservative Parsi-Indian. He's not sure if they will have nothing further to do with him and he knows how that will hurt his mother. He also worried it would cost his relationship with Mary Austin (listen to Love of My Life which is about Mary) who he said was the person who knew him best, his only friend, his common law wife and the love of his life. The interesting thing is that this song could be about many different circumstances where a life is unalterably changed.
