I'm watching the playlist of Ablazing Grace, but video 5 is a "Private Video". Can that be fixed? Or a link to the video for #5?

At approximately 6:00... Where does he get that these gods are actual demons that control certain groups of people? Where does that come from?

What I find strange is that Eve didn't think the serpent speaking to her as unexpected or startling. Did other animals speak to Adam & Eve?

How do we know she didn't? The Bible doesn't say either way.

The serpent was Satan, not a snake. The Serpent was simply a nickname or title of satan. It was not meant to say a snake.

the Bible NEVER affirms that pagan "gods" are actual demons/fallen angels. where did that come from? 4:00 - 6:00

The entire narrative of the creation is exactly why I don't understand Jesus' comment about man being like the angels, "neither giving or taking in marriage". That means: No families, no children, no husband/wife, no relationship other than friendships. One of the crowning and deepest images of our entire image of God is how a man and woman come together to become "one flesh", in love and great pleasure, and create more life.
Unless Christ was only referring to our 1,000 years in heaven, I don't understand how we won't be renewed to our original state of family relationships, marriage, and children to enjoy for all eternity. To fill this earth, and all the rest of this massive universe He created, with love and family.
    Any ideas anybody?

The earthly family unit I think is simply a microcosm of a grander celestial family where God is trying to restore. The breakup of the celestial family during Lucifer's rebellion where 1/3 of the Angels severed their allegiance from God, created a void. That void must be filled. And the human family redeemed through the blood of Christ is standing to fill the void. Zechariah 13:8,9

+Chris Snyder in that case what would happen with the women or men who married twice? (when their partner died... etc) if God allows marriages to continue in heaven then it would probably be a disaster. sin had already marred God's perfect plan of multiplying the earth. besides lets say God does allow us to have children in heaven... the children would not truly understand the significance of sin as they werent there to witness the consequences if it on earth.

+Samuel Bongcayao I've heard that explanation before, but it still doesn't click with me because God created man and woman and set up for them to be married before the fall. So had man never sinned, humans would have been marrying for all eternity with no purpose to replace any lost celestial family. The verses you referenced say nothing about humans replacing a lost celestial family, only that 2/3 will be lost. It's kind of like saying the Sabbath won't exist in the New Earth anymore because it's only purpose was to differentiate between God's people and Satan's, when the Bible clearly says we will keep the Sabbath in the New Earth.
I am not trying to be argumentative, but this is something that I just cannot find any cohesion with among God's professed people.
How can we, in the image of God, think we'll be happy without continuing to have families and children? That is where we, as humans, derive our entire being and purpose and it was given to us by God.
So if "all things" will be restored, as the Bible says, this must include the family unit and marriage, or else that statement of "all things" is not true.

+yourcheesysmile Perhaps all marriages that were made within the sinful era of mankind will be null and void, given that they were made with sinful hearts and sinful minds unable to fully comprehend the commitment they were making?
How could it be that the Bible says we will build our own homes, grow our own food, and have our own land if we're just going to be living alone in those homes, on that land, and eating that food with no one but friends who come over to visit?
Removing marriage removes the family unit, the entire purpose of human existence is to reproduce and do so in love! Every single element within mankind can be traced back to the family. Humanity exists only because of the family unit. Societies, economies, social networks, churches, and governments exists solely because families exist. Entire societies and civilizations can be destroyed if you destroy the family unit. This is Satan's goal within the world, to destroy the image of God that is built into to mankind through the family. Homosexual marriage, altering of the sexual orientation, reversing the roles of men and women towards each other, and destroying the sanctity of marriage. These are all Satan's goals and we are telling ourselves that those are the very things God is going to get rid of in the New Earth?? That just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
We have genitalia for this purpose, we have brains wired to receive pleasure from sexual stimulation and not just receive pleasure but to release hormones and endorphines that trigger connection, dedication, and love with the other person. We have brains designed to live off of love and sacrifice for our own children and spouse. So God would literally have to alter and redesign all of those things to operate differently than they do now.
How then do we understand the Bible when it says "all things" will be restored? The word "restore" means to bring something back to to its original state, not create a new form of it.
And regarding your question about children born in the New Earth not comprehending the significance of sin because they didn't witness it, what do we say about all of God's creations who don't witness sin or have never experienced it? Is God going to stop creating beings with free will after sin is eradicated? What about future creations?
I have yet to find a satisfactory explanation to any of this from any Christian, including any pastor. It's very difficult to comprehend....

+Chris Snyder : There is really no room to accommodate your hypothesis, " had man had not sin" . The fall was not a surprise with God. He foresaw it, and for that reason the plan of salvation was not an after thought. I totally understand your argument, but our understanding of family between husband, wife and children, is limited as earthlings in comparison to a more grandiose and numberless celestial throng that compose a family. One of the reason why, in my opinion we were given the privilege to procreate, is to experienced what its like to be part of a family where LOVE and nurturing can find its true meaning.. The Devine trio were once a family unit, before they start to create. Hence, God can declare without equivocation, That God is LOVE. Love can never be true without someone to received it. And our duty to exercise that love to our family is a dry run for the heavenly family.
