“Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” 1 Peter 3:21
Great video mike. Thank you for being a vessel for the Lord. You have helped me in my walk tremendously. All glory be to God Jesus Christ. The One that saves.
Being baptized is more symbolic as a public confession and to show that you’ve been changed from being just a sinner to a sinner saved by Jesus Christ by grace. I think being baptized is a great thing, but having been baptized or not doesn’t mean you won’t be with the Lord after your death. God bless~
Fire speaks of the purifying nature of the Holy Ghost. He is a purifier. The Spirits sanctifies as well as washes. In Leviticus there were those elements of raiment that were purified after war or when defiled. Depending on what material they were, metal or iron such as armor. Or skins or even cloth, the metal was purified by fire but the skins were purified by water (washing) this is a type spiritually of the word and the Spirit.(Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,) For three and a half years Jesus's disciples were under the word of Christ which cleansed them. (Jhn 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.) but when they were baptized in the Holy Ghost in the upper room the Spirit purified them in there inner most being with the very nature of the Holy Ghost and that is Holiness. This is why Jesus speaks to the laodicean church. By of me Gold tried in the fire. This was a reference to his Spirit, seeing he had overcome the world and it was the faith that he imparts in us that is of his Holy Ghost. That we are made pure and holy. Gold represents the Devine nature and deity of Christ. This is beautiful because when Gold is mixed with impurities and is tried in fire (refined) its nature will always separate from impurity. Its the same with that of the Spirit when his Devine deity is in us it's the fiery trials of life that provoke separation from the pure nature of his spirit from the corrupt nature of our flesh. So then we see purity is the nature of divinity.
Being born again comes from the Holy Spirit. Ezekiel 36:26 it’s up to the Lord to do it and you’ll know it when you feel the Holy Spirit in you. It doesn’t necessarily happen when you believe, but just ask the Lord and he’ll come. God bless~

You are such a blessing, love you so much my brother in Christ!

To be baptized in water is identifying with the death burial and resurrection of Jesus

How do I know I've been baptized w fire? I've never really felt I was truly born again
