Future: Take One

Our story is an interview with someone from the past and someone from the future. The past person runs an oil company and thinks climate change is a theory. The future person is trying to change the past personʻs way of thinking, but although he changes, he only does it for the money.
Our story is a mixture of comedy and the seriousness of the world's fate. We wanted to address the frightening effects of Climate Change. Our story shows that anyone can fight Climate Change no matter who or what position they are in! Our world CAN become better if we unite as one and work together!
This short film was produced during the Environmental Justice Reel Camp organized by Hawai‘i Women in Filmmaking in collaboration with Wisdom Circles of Oceania and Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi.
