I'm so excited to be witnessing her getting her moment right now, god knows she deserves it. She doesn't want sound like whitehouse to me , the only comparison would be both are in the same talent league. People should listen to some of the older classic female artists / singers and they will find there have been many "greats" like whitehouse, she didn't invent that style of music she made but people benchmark everyone else off her which I think is a bit unfair on the artists that have came along after her so to speak. I'm sure Raye could probs rhyme off a host of old skool artists that influence her singing/ music styles. I'm not having a pop at anyone else just firing my thoughts into the mix👍

Raye representing. Telling her story but at the same time telling the story of so many. Sexual harrassment, assault and rape are so so common and so many women experience them in their lifetime and sadly often more than once too. I hadn't heard of Raye until I saw her supporting Lewis Capaldi and left a fan.
