Law is unique. You can pick up his normal combos easy but when you have start using DSS and you cannot do it, you pretty much have to forget him. DSS is what makes law

In tag2 forest had shaolin spin kick into dragon flight kick if I remember correctly. You didn't need to do dss to do that. I get that dss always feels satisfying when done, like you've just done something an average player can't do so I think Namco knows that and if forest replaces marshal again he'll have dss
its one of those technique in the game, drag crouch cancel, steve duck cancel, Marduk ready stance cancel Just give it a go, you should get the hang of it in like 1-2 sessions

I dropped Bryan Fury and then started to main Marshall Law because it turned out to be the sort of character I can get use to easy same as Lei Wulong because actually if you look at it you can really like understand what there moves look like because they both reference Jackie Chan & Bruce Lee. I am a girl who 17 and never grew up it. I basically saw Tekken in an arcade that was down the road from where I live when I was 15 and I started playing it and I was like wow this is awesome and so I played Tekken 7 on Xbox one and I was like wow I am going to see if I can get that on my Playstation and so I got it on Christmas day with a cheap price because it was on a month deal and I just started from there. I am a slow learner but as I started in 2019 I have been starting to develop more and do much better. So as I am looking at the combos it's like wow it is going to take a while for me to get that haha
I have serious problems conecting the 3,4,DDS f,4 after dashing a big distance, can connect maybe 1 every 50 attempts, like the ender in the 0:25 combo
Practice with ch 43 dss f4, if that hit means your dss cancel is very fast, next level is the ch ws4 into 3+44 if that combo means you have unlocked the Bruce Lee inside, once you get consistent with these any legend kick ender will be a joke yo. You
@@famaplay that's easy once you have muscle memory, hard stuff comes with the ws4 dss Parry dss and some minidash combos if you want maximize damage, but you don't need all this for starting, practice dss cancel without hit, notice the legs and find when you can input the f4 for the legend kick, you'll go earlier and earlier until you can hit the ch 43 dss f4

@@famaplay that missed because he did 3 b2, which send him too far away for your dss f4 to connect, stick with 2 or even 1 sometimes if you don't need that wall carry and you're good, and of course sometimes you miss it but with practice you'll notice that is the more consistent "hard" thing to do with law, as I said troubles come with ws4, maybe Parry(b2+4) and some minidash combos, all this not necessary to play law at a good level,only thing you need is dss 3 for screw and dss f4 for enders
I'm in the same boat buddy! Been playing Law since Tekken 6 but never learnt it until now. There is a very good guide that's about 8 months old on TH-cam. But I've got the hang of it by going in to practice, making the AI block. And spam 4,3 in to DSS. I'm finally able to land the DSS into that flying kick at the end of a combo semi reliably now after a bit. Do not practice it at the end of a juggle until you've mastered it on its own first. That's what I wish I did. You know when your ready when you can hit it without seeing the shoulder shuffle at all. Also you can hit back and forward while hitting 4,3 then spam forward to cancel while again hitting 4.
DSS is a freakin nightmare for those who want to master Law.. I never understood DSS way back in T5 and never paid attention to practicing it.. Now with T7, I would practice DSS for an hour before going to work in the morning and I would then again practice for an hour when I get home every single day for 3 months now.. my learning rate is very slow TBH, but progress is progress no matter how slow.. just keep doing it till you understand the rhythm and the energy required to play this character that way..
Insane combos dude, but like 40% of them are never occur to me in real matches. I mean, the situations that allow you to do such things at all. Learning these combos, they are tough at times.
its more about learning the starter hit.all the combos have the same logic to them, if it starts with a move that lift the opponent a certain way you have maybe 5 options to use, and doesnt matter wich one because the damage at the end varies by less than 10pts. So you jst get what you are confortable to hit your opponent wich, and then train 2 or 3 variations or the combo, because your hand will default to one of them after the first strike. And those variations are transferable to the other first hits.
The wall carry at 5:54 with f+2 f, f+2, 3 is very inconcistent for me, sometimes i got it, but most of the time the f, f+3, 3 drop. Any tips ? Do I need to deep dash first ? Or delay some hits?

His combos are pretty damn hard honestly and I can do Steve and DJ's combos. It's a real execution barrier to play, I don't know why it's not mentioned much about him. I'm sick of practicing that ender now.

If you hit the DSS F+1 and it doesn't break the wall, it means you are DSS canceling too slow. Same thing applies to doing 4,3 DSS F+1 to break walls but DSS canceling from 4,3 is easier than ws4.
Just noticed you have ws3 as a minicombo instead of putting ws3 dss 3+4,4 there. How come? You easily have the execution to do it so why not put it there as a possibility?

When you do a move that can go inti DSS, threat it like just one move. Do the left right move right after you finiahed the previous attack
if its 4 3 4 then just memorise the timing of the last 4 and time insert b,f into that timing, hold the forward and press 4
