What a torturous plot. Yes, I frequently felt tortured watching it! But Fay Wray is so appealing that I endured it anyway, even though her character is as painfully harebrained as the others.

I can't believe that she threw out what looked like five dolls. There are children whose parents can't afford to buy them toys. She should have given them to the children's ward in a hospital or donate them to an Orphanage, Salvation army, Goodwill charities.. That's just plain inconsiderate.

And Margaret Lindsay (Best known as the Secretary in the Crime Doctor Films).

FAY WRAY IS ALWAYS WORTH WATCHING, AND GRANT WITHERS IS NOT BAD. THERE ARE SOME NICELY WRITTEN LITTLE ROMANTIC SCENES BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM, NOTHING IN THIS MOVIE MAKES MUCH SENSE UTIL THE VERY END, WHEN THINGS GET PULLED TOGETHER. THE MUSIC TOWARDS THE END IS TERRIBLE AND SOUNDS LIKE THE SOUND TRACK OF A SERIAL FOR MOVIE MADE FOR KIDS, (THOUGH IT WAS VERY EXCITING FOR KIDS DURING SATURDAY MATINEES).THERE'S NOT MUCH WORTH WATCHING HERE...........EXCEPT FOR FAY WRAY. I COULDN'T TAKE MY EYES AWAY FROM HER EVEN IN THIS B FILM. I THINK YOU'LL LIKE HER TOO, EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER SEEN HER IN 'KING KONG', 1933.. I'M GLAD THIS FILM WAS RE-DISCOVERED, AS IT'S A PITY TO HAVE ANY FILM LOST.
