The series was such a nostalgia trip damn it. LOVED IT. The style, the gameplay, oh and the voice acting. Phenomenal. You got who voiced War right but that wasn't the only legendary voice actor. The Watcher was voiced by Mark Hamill, you could really hear his sadistic Batman the animated series Joker voice in there. Can't wait for you to experience the GRANDER size of Darksiders 2 maybe, my favourite.

Though you didn't show the puzzles, i'm glad that you did like them and found them so fun to do. I'm not sure i've heard your voice get as high as you did when getting the Abyssal Armor ever before, but i'm gonna guess that that moment's going to stick :P In general: just thank you so much for checking out the series. It was a blast for us to watch, and hopefully for you to play. And i'll be waiting *super* excitedly for the other games and hope that you will have as much, if not more fun with them than with nr. 1 here. And you're not the only one for whom War's last line created goosebumps so big and mythical they ought to better be called gryphonbumps. The two last things i'd like to say, are: Darksiders 2 is *definitely* the biggest game out of all of them, with a lot to explore and two very big DLCs-- not to mention a lengthy arena challenge of which i'd love you see get to the end of it. That ties into the second thing i wanted to mention: i'm a bit sad you didn't get to find any of the secret miniboss locations, such as the one on the other end of the grappling line at Twilight Cathedral's entrance. The character you face there is quite wicked, special and memorable, and a kind of running gag amongst all the games. With that all said, thank you again for playing through this game, thank you for reading through this comment (whoever you are), and i want to wish you all well and take care. I think you just missed Wicked K. He's not tied to the lore or the story, just an optional fight, prolly not long enough for a video but try it off screen maybe. It's really fun!
I heavily second this! Wicked K is as much of a staple character as Vulgrim is. These two are the only ones to have appeared in every single game thus far.
This series is the perfect example how humans have been writing amazing fiction since forever. These Charachters are probably thousands of years old by now, but the story with a new spin is still amazing.
i recommend starting ds2 relatively quickly because it picks up pretty much while war is doing his stuff so almost at the same time, just so you dont forget some minor details.
There is a scret boss called Wicked K. Who spawns in the final phase of the game in different locations all over the map. Just letting you know if you wanna fight him, he's a fun fight, the Darksiders wiki has all the locations listed, but I remember one of them is on the grappling hook path next to the Twilight Cathedral and one other is on a grapling hook path on the path where War and Ulthane fight that horde of angels.
Really enjoyed watching your playthrough. Played this when it came out and forgot how amazing the character designs are. Also really good voice acting. Pretty sure mark Hammel does the voice for the watcher. Looking forward to you playing Darksiders 2. As much as I loved the first one, the second one is way better imo

My favorite part of this universe is the fact the Horseman are essentially kept in check till the Seventh Seal is broken. Ya know working as the Council's enforcers till the end war, but once it's broken regardless of circumstance be it dead or otherwise they are summoned to do as they please. And since they are demi gods essentially, pissing off War and earning his ire probably wasn't the Council's best move.
What choice did they really had? They couldn't send the horseman and they had no proof of what the angels did. So in order to stop Abbadon's scheme they had to set him up.
I'd say from the kingdom of the dead onwards it has that many, it's very light on puzzles at the beginning, even more so than the 1st one. Though the last main dungeon in the 1st area, I forget what it's called has a decent amount.
Really entertaining video, might be my second best after the guardian ape one. Appereny, Darksiders 1 is the last one in the chronological order. The last fight with War vs Abbados was like Cloud vs Sepiroth. Looking forward to the next one. Havent played Darksiders 3 yet, might get it during winter sale
You missed a few little things in the game, like 2 legendary upgrades, of Fury and Death. There's also a mechanic in the game that sometimes will reward you for randomly destroying all objects in certain places. And once you come back from Eden, before you finish the game, you can visit a few places to find Wicked.K there, who is an ester egg boss that you can have multiple battles with. You can find him in all 3 games. Also to make later stories more clear, Darksiders 2 and 3 take place after War's first arrival to Earth, but before his second, aka during the 100 years when he was gone

I played this game with my best friend and we were so hype for the ending, debatably one of the best endings in my opinion. He has sense passed away and seeing how big of a community and how hype everyone including you has been over this game has been awesome. I hope they continue with the series, but have read in a couple articles that we wont be getting the fourth horseman...

The ending doesn't get resolved since Darksiders 2 is set alongside the 1st one and the 3rd is set before the 1st one excluding the prologue apocalypse . Though when 3 ends after War has been released and War has perhaps done a few things before then.

Myth do you know that once you get the Abyssal Chain you can use it to get into a secret area near Tiamat's Cathedral where there's a unique enemy? Get there later in the game!
Was great watching you play the first one. The ending is always amazing to rewatch and sets up so much, you should for sure play darksiders 2 its probably the best one in the series. And 3 after if you are still enjoying the gameplay and story. Hopefully 4 will be announced soon and we can also watch you play that too.

Every area in Darksiders 2 has that many puzzles and it is very poggers.
