Income tax is one among the most essential subject for students of B.Com, CA, CMA and other accounting and finance related professional courses. This video is made to give a basic insight about fundamentals of Income Tax subject. Meaning of tax is explained along with essentials of Good tax system to be adopted by the government. Government’s tax sources and the spending of the tax revenue is highlighted in this video. Types of tax, based on Levy and Collection is elaborated in this video. Few taxes levied by Central Government, Sate Government and Local government are explained. Direct and Indirect Taxes are elaborated with its features and few examples. Few other basic aspects like Assessment, Assesse, Previous Year and Assessment Year are highlighted in this video.
