thanks mate... im so inspired by his work I just had to make a slideshow and I thought what better music to represent present day urban art than dubstep... credit to gravious too for the great tunes, seamless mixing & audio samples that just go perfectly with the art...
Bro I'm a massive fan, have been for almost half my life, 13 years now? You've changed my life a few times with this mix providing clarity. Narcotect my man I'm an autistic musician with a crazy life. I hope you're still there, cus I wanna talk and possibly collaborate, if I should be lucky enough to work with my hero. So happy this was put back up, I was lost for a while.
this introduced me to dubstep - lot's of incredible memories.. I'm afraid of the moment when this video is deleted on youtube like 80% of my playlist of that time..
The lyrics in the intro (allbeit from an unrelated movie) somehow capture Banksy's image too. "One day my mind was ready to burst" talks about his artistic side, "Cancelled the project" I assume he discovered it and everything he held dear became illegal, and finally as is the way with Banksy: "I'll show them..."
Thats a wicked combo Bristols got some sick Dubstep from Pinch and Appleblim. Also theirs a really good new electronica/rap act called Allflaws. check out Massive attacks new shit too. Bristols the place
There were a couple of Banksy's in Vienna aswell, but they were painted over... They reapeared short time after, but were subsequently coverd by huge wooden walls... why?
Monolith, Fall and the Gravious remix of Transfer, originally by Intex Systems. And a little taste of circuit Breaker at the end there. Check description on the right there for links.....
@SeedsofJoy Hey man, the mixtapes are still on my Myspace blog - but I have reposted them all at the top for ease of access! Check the blog posts, just under the music player. Cheers
@narcotect sorry dude lol im still not really getting the songs situation, i know ratarded, but id really appreciate a reply ( i know the video is very old ). Is there no song name for this particular mix? because i dont really like listening to the individual tracks i guess lol so is this like the gravious mixtape part 1 or something? again i havnt done to much research into his mixtapes :(
@alainbmx 1) Monolith 2) Fall 3) Transfer (Gravious Remix) originally by Intex Systems. 4) Circuit Breaker all info & links are in the drop down menu.. :)
@grimreefer4 - hey mate, yeh its been about 3 years now since i uploaded this vid, gravious may have taken down or changed the links. Ive put all the info in the drop down menu... if its no longer up to date might be best to just contact Gravious direct on his Myspace page..
i appreaciate banksy's work and am inspired by it. i have his book. But i do believe he is getting to become overrated so i've looked at plenty of other graffiti artists like pixelman,flowerman,cope2 and more. If you like art, and graffiti in particular, dont just view banksy's work because theres plenty more inspiring work. Anyway theres pictures of him on google images type in banksy unmasked im 99% sure thats him.
0:21 is saying something thats actually very very true, Banksy may famous and may be a very talented artist but theres nothing differenciating him from any other graffiti artist that paints pictures/images. Why should what he does be acceptable? When the rest of us get locked up for it.
