My Battle With Instagram & Instapoetry | An Instapoet's Insight

I'm really nervous about publishing this video. I don't know how people will react, but here are my issues with the instagram publicity campaign of 'removing' likes, and the monster of an algorithm that has left me feeling pretty worthless many times!
The instagram algorithm can be really punishing, if you don't get the hashtags exactly right, if you reuse even ONE of them, if you don't hit 100 likes and a decent amount of comments in the first hour, the algorithm significantly reduces the amount of your followers who see your posts. Which means your post won't do as well, and your next two posts will be punished for it, thus resulting in a snowball of negativity! The notifications feature no longer sends to everyone who has switched them on to see your content, and if you use certain blacklisted words your reach will be about 5% of your followers.
Is it any wonder then, having spent years working hard and building up my audience, that I'm struggling with mental health problems and left feeling worthless when all of a sudden my account is a sinking ship?
