I am curious though, would it be possible to get some sort of hard plated knee protection underneath the spes pants? Or are they too tight to encompass knee pads?
@@Mugen_bandcoming in late, but it would depend on the style of trousers and knee pad you have. I have the Hussar trousers and you could probably get a solid knee pad of some type under them as long as it didn't extend down the shin (ie not a knee and shin pad). However for comfort I would personally say having some extra space between the hard shell and you is probably better - the velcro webbing straps on a lot of them can kind of cut into the leg so it can be better to have the trouser in the way. You also then have the padding under the shell to absorb the force of the blow.
