As a high school offensive coordinator, I bring over corners and safeties to run routes and get them reps at catching the football. It gets them designated throws and reinforces teaching them any football in the air is available for the receiver or DB to attack and catch. Good to see Jones getting reps.
This is by far the best roster since our Super Bowl team with Rich Gannon. This defense is going to break the all-time sack record and Maxx Condor Crosby will win 🏆 DPOY. AOC is our franchise QB for the next decade and leads us into the playoffs and wins 🏆 a Super Bowl championship 💯.
Have a good feeling about it. If defense is top 10 all time best defense in the NFL, the league could see the best defensive team since 2012-17 Seahawks defense aka "Legion of Boom". If Raiders do have best defense in the NFL and there that good, I wonder how many possible shutout wins. I hope at least 1-3 total shutout wins. I hope Raiders give up at least 15.4 points.

Also, we have young guys in the process of developing, and as everybody has heard; it takes three years to evaluate a draft class and even high draft picks can take two or three years to find their groove in the NFL or an opportunity develops where they get more playing time to show what they can do. The Raiders have not been in situation like this for many years. The roster has been shallow for over 20 years. Bad drafting, worse development, all kinds of instability with admin, coaches, and players. It has SUCKED for so long, BUT I believe we finally have the formula for long term success and exciting Raiders football again!

Tyree Wilson being healthy is going to change a lot of things too. I think we end up Top 3 in Sacks overall this season. If the secondary stays healthy and performs like we hope.....look out! Its been a loooooooong time since we've had a Defense that can help out/compliment our Offense. I’m with ya Sanji I think this is the best roster I’ve seen in a long time. I would even argue the best coaching staff ever in the history of the Raiders organization. I’ve been a Raider fan 45 years and let me tell you what I see. May be a little lengthy but I’m trying to make a point and an observation. The coaching staff and the roster is the first of its kind in that we have a former player as a HC besides (Shell and Del Rio) but the first that has dedicated his decision making to bringing in as many former players as position coaches as he can is brilliant. Meaning how many he’s brought in as quantity over any other teams I’ve seen anyway. He really made it a point of emphasis. I’ve been suggesting that for over four decades. I’ve been suggesting for years that these HC need to take advantage of the Raider alumni? Bring in gold jacket members to coach their position groups? What better coach than one who’s wearing a gold jacket at that position? As former players themselves these coaches immediately add credibility to what they’re teaching. They’ve been there done that. There’s an instant connection between player and coach. Instant! Not to mention having three former head coaches to coach with him as as well as a 20 year vet in Marvin Lewis who built the toughest defenses of all time in his time with the Bengals. Joe Philbin who has well over 30 years experience and Coach Coughlin a two time SB winning coach. Not only is this the deepest coaching staff we’ve ever seen in Raider History, IMO, but the roster is starting to look deeper too Tks to Telesco. Im excited again for a season to start that I’m hoping brings back some of the mystique and down hill smash mouth in your face football that I saw in the 70’s - 90’s. Raider motto is “We don’t care if you hate us but you will respect us”

AOC's pocket awareness and decision making process are both things that could make a big difference not only in his success but also how effective the offense will be overall. The Raiders last year were running 30% of their total offense and a rookie playing the biggest and most important position of that offense. I think you're going to see a huge move forward over last year's offensive play by the Raiders.
Jack Jones, a highly talented player and one of my favorites, if he wants to play WR, better run clean routes, have great hands and feet, and body control. WRs and CBs are further apart than some people might think. RBs make better WRs than CBs generally speaking.
I'm confident that this defence is better than any Raiders defence since the early eighties. However, I have doubts of the offence. It's a new OC and it takes time for players to get familiar with it. WE SHOULD KNOW BY THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST HOW GOOD OUR OFFENCE IS .

Aiden played in a pro style offense at Purdue. After the 5th game his senior season he was 19-21 in the red zone and 17 of those were td's. He also led Purdue to the B1G championship against Michigan where he had Purdue in the game till the 4th quarter.
Raiders have never been this stacked and more motivated then now from the outside looking in the nfl/haters dont realize what's being cooked up, can't wait for AOC to prove everyone wrong
