    I love how someone can take a bunch of unwanted or unused junk and recycle them to make a great Star Wars-style character. Great job! 👏👍

    Always love seeing your droid customs - you come up with some really interesting ideas and it's inspiring to see how you repurpose plastic containers and other random bits of junk. In this particular video I was stoked to identify a Zoids Salamander gun at the three-minute mark, and now I'm curious if you've ever built or kitbashed a Zoid.

      I haven't yet... I did find a few Zoids at a yardsale so it's definitely on my to do list! 😀

    WOW…that turned out SO great! 🙌🏻 I love the “fish head” idea. I think he looks better than Akbar. Love the red touches as well - makes for a nice pop of color. Love it! 😊🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

    Looks awsome. I found a 3 1/2" action figure with a missing leg. Any tips on making a robotic or mechical leg?

    • @DRToysCreations
      @DRToysCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look on pintrest to get some ideas of robotic or mechanical legs then look at the construction of each piece. You would be surprised at junk you have laying around that could become a leg... The casing of an old pen, tooth picks, handels on plastic forks.
      Check out Andy Mecha, he does some simple leg builds. Tell him I sent ya, great guy! 😀

    AWESOME WORK MY MAN! Quick question, I tried the dye method before but the color of said dye just bled through the acrylic paint. Do I have to let the dye boil for 30min to an hour? Cause the last video I saw of a fellow kitbasher using the method said 15min. Love seeing your kitbashing process keep it up.

    • @DRToysCreations
      @DRToysCreations  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I ended up boiling it for around an hour and it still wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for…but this is the first and last time I’ve died a fugue…

    Very cool! It came out with the perfect "greeble density" to match the base figure. That's always something I think ties the project in at the right scale 👍

    Absolutely brilliant stuff, but I would love to see, how to build arms, hands, legs as once these are built, you can attach them to almost any shape, even how to make spider legs and so ❤❤❤

    You didn't have to chop that hand up. You could have kept the peg on that robot claw and carved it down so that its peg fit into the hand socket. At first I thought you was creating an articulated risk.

    • @DRToysCreations
      @DRToysCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So by doing what I did I do now have a fully articulating hand.

    Next time you want to make a neck ball fit just fill the cavity where its going with hot glue, and cover the neck ball with vaseline or any cooking oil and shove it where it need to go while the hot glue is still soft. Pull it out and trim the excess
