I'd be honored if some Queen fans would come by & give a quick listen to my acoustic piano & vocal live performance of RADIO GA-GA in tribute to one of the band's top 80s-era hits and to Roger Taylor (who wrote the song). Live 1-take recording with no autotune or digital editing. Peace & stay safe.
I just sent those exact lyrics to my wife and daughters as some of my favorite lyrics. No random coincidence that I scrolled through comments and found this immediately! As I was typing these lyrics, I cried. I can’t explain it. They touch me deeply and I recognize that our world is in desperate need of true love.

I'm a Japanese high school student, but I've been listening to Queen for a long time because of my father's influence I especially love this song I like movies as well as music Queen doesn't care about country or age👍
+Julian Daun your not wrong years ago bands would play together for years doing all the uni's and working men's clubs they would work on songs over and over like when they were in the studio on a four track they would play the song maybe 20 times and pick the best one, most of the bands today cant play live well unless they have alots of pc's and backing tracks or the best one AUTO TUNING singers like freddie mercury did not need anything like that dont get me wrong their are a few bands that can play good but years ago nearly all the bands could play good.

@Jacob Riis Is it because of those movies? The people who were supposedly sexually abused are known and proven liars. There is more proof that MJ is innocent than not innocent because all the proof for him actually not being innocent are all debunked.
He died tha year i was born apparently 🙁🙁🙁 if it any consolation, u know, change & loss is a part of life, an intractable condition of xistence. Tha song itself kinda alludes to dis: "how u gonna react in a world constantly shifting & changing & seeking 2 overwhelm u? Can u transcend tha pressure n rise above it?" Great artists like queen & bowie certainly can, i think

“Can't we give ourselves one more chance? Why can't we give love that one more chance?” Those words are so urgent and pleading with the vocals isolated, like those from a child trying to understand what became of her father. It also feels like a literal message to the audience from the director, having gone through what Sophie did.

You’ve always wanted to cure what you thought were weaknesses your leg, your disease but you were never broken viktor there are beauty in imperfections they made you who you are
This is unironically one of the best songs of all time in my opinion. This is one of those "perfect" songs that I rarely every give the title to. This is true talent and it shows; the 80s were a different time, huh?. R.I.P Freddie Mercury and David Bowie - Gone, but never forgotten.
We need all of this today, it’s sad to see how long artists and people have been struggling. We have been under pressure for decades and nothing has gotten better, you could argue it’s even worse than ever. The common denominator here is how we have been treated and manipulated by government from the beginning. 😢😢 let’s all just love again. 😊
Fun fact: Deacy came up with the little “ dun dun dun dun ” rhythm and had it stuck in his mind all day but then they went for pizza and Deacy forgot it, fortunately Roger remembered it.
Actually when deacon couldn't remember the tune he played what he thought it was and David Bowie played what he thought it was. (Bowie's is in the song which it originally was no one knows
@@itsyoboi4555 oh mhm well when your that high probably everyone has a different tale of the events that took place. All we'll know is that this dong is gotta be one of the greatest collabs ever
Yeah, Freddie has amazing range and power. David has a really nice, I wanna say "texture" to his vocal style. Makes you really feel the emotion in what he's saying.
Hoping that one day Queen and David Bowie's camp will correct or clear the statement of Vanilla Ice interview that he already buy the Under Pressure. If Vanilla Ice really the owner of this song.
@@df-mt4eo sorry but I couldn't understand what you said. Vanilla ice's song has been sued and all the rights and profits of Ice Ice Baby now belong to Queen and David Bowie
crammalatt there's no such thing as a God 🙄😁 and if there was i guarantee you it wouldn't have sex with random men in public toilets and it wouldn't become addicted to Heroin and it wouldn't get aids and die of aids 🙄😁
For all you odd ones saying only “real fans” came before the movie, that’s a lie. You can be a fan of something after it becomes popular. Also isn’t it great that more people have come to the realization of how good Queen’s music is? 😄 (Also just for clarification, Queen has always been popular. It did not become popular after the movie. It was just introduced to a wider range of people 🙂)
Sometimes I'm also annoyed if someone likes sth when it becomes popular, but tbh that's how it works, and that's good. I've always been listening Queen, but now after the movie I'm more intrested in this band and its music, listen the whole albums to discover songs which I didn't knew before, and that's great! I'm happy that I'm finally ready to enjoy their music more :D
I am a straight guy but i know this song helped a lot of people rod Stewart s courage consideration and compassion is very evident here my fav song of all time people dont chose the way they are born god does if we all accept the will of god we could all be smelling the roses god bless you rod and anyone who is struggling with their sexuallity out there have courage enjoy who you are there is a place on earth for everyone you will find happiness love kindness be strong life is a wonderful gift

Funfact: The solo part between Freddy and Bowie, was done in different room and they can’t hear what the other one sings, because they have different song in mind and wanted to put it together, hence Under Pressure was created.
Apparently Bowie cheated and sneaked in on Mercury undetected, hence the perfection in their different approach. Freddie actually set the tone for the song Bowie fitted his part to what he heard Freddie start/complete. The actual fun fact is Bowie felt the pressure, Freddie was oblivious he was listening to him. Either way it's a great track, we are still listening to.

So if Roger wouldn’t have remembered the bass riff, we wouldn’t have had this masterpiece? Thank you Roger for remembering it Thank you Deaky for coming up with it Thank you Freddie, David and Brian for singing it and playing a clean but awesome guitar tune Love you QUEEN😘😘😘
somewhere in suburbia, there's a twenty year old sitting in a cold garage with a guitar, practicing riffs from a song that is older than he is. Thirty three years later, Queen is still a household word.
Hmmmmm, this is always interesting to me when people say things like this about Queen. Queen was NOT a mainstream band. They weren't like U2. They were on the fringes so more like The Cure at that time. Not mainstream or a household word at all, not even remotely unless you listened to bands more on the fringes. "Another One Bites the Dust" went a little more mainstream but just that song somewhat. And "We Are the Champions" but again it was more about the song being played or sung at every sporting event it seemed. Not the band as a whole. Always interesting in what people who lived during that time vs. people who read about it, found out about them later or watched the movie think.
I’ve always loved the montage of epic movie kisses that starts at 2:52, with Freddie’s voice echoing “Give Love” over and over... so very beautiful... ❤️😭❤️
Two very different musical genius as the cold and eccentric Bowie and the exuberant and shy Freddie Mercury joined in an absolute timeless Masterpiece. Fantastic
Post_Apple he was born in the Midwestern area near Africa and moved away due to a war at his home land and migrated to the UK 🇬🇧. I think you need to learn more facts and Freddie would be 78 and most likely still alive from my point of perspective. :)))
Thank you Mr. Bulsara, Mr. Deacon, Mr. Taylor, Mr. May, and Mr. Jones for a really amazing and great song. RIP Freddie and David. Thank you John for the amazing bass riff.

Literal chills man. Truer words have never been spoken before nor after.
Peace & stay safe.
this lyric is becoming more true every single day.

These gave me a new meaning after watching Aftersun
Great song no matter when you heard it first. It matters to so many of us!!
A timeless classic. David Bowie and Freddie Mercury were 2 of the most talented artists of this era-- frozen in time.

Magnificent song , the man really had a gift , too bad there aren't many today as Freddie ...
You won't get anyone today with the amount of talent like Freddie Mercury
+Julian Daun well said 👏
+Julian Daun your not wrong years ago bands would play together for years doing all the uni's and working men's clubs they would work on songs over and over like when they were in the studio on a four track they would play the song maybe 20 times and pick the best one, most of the bands today cant play live well unless they have alots of pc's and backing tracks or the best one AUTO TUNING singers like freddie mercury did not need anything like that dont get me wrong their are a few bands that can play good but years ago nearly all the bands could play good.
Or David Bowie
There is NO ONE like freddy you mean ???

"This is our last dance" hits so much harder after you've seen Aftersun.
It's always been my favourite song for years but after seeing the film it feels completely different.
Sim, o filme me trouxe outra perspectiva sobre a música.
“Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?”
Those words are so urgent and pleading with the vocals isolated, like those from a child trying to understand what became of her father. It also feels like a literal message to the audience from the director, having gone through what Sophie did.
i cannot listen to this song that often anymore cause it just breaks me.

For sure! Most of today's "popular music" makes my ears bleed.
Later's better than never, it's beautiful that people these days still discover their music and group of fans becomes larger, I agree with you
I think it’s awesome that there are new fans
Great comment!

UNDER PRESSURE LYRICS
[Intro: Freddie Mercury]
Mmm num ba de
Dum bum ba be
Doo buh dum ba beh beh
[Verse 1: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you, no man ask for
Under pressure that burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
[Bridge: Freddie Mercury]
Um ba ba be
Um ba ba be
De day da
Ee day da - that's okay
[Chorus: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
It's the terror of knowing what the world is about
Watching some good friends screaming
'Let me out'
Pray tomorrow gets me higher
Pressure on people, people on streets
[Verse 2: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
Day day de mm hm
Da da da ba ba
Okay
Chipping around, kick my brains around the floor
These are the days it never rains but it pours
Ee do ba be
Ee da ba ba ba
Um bo bo
Be lap
People on streets
Ee da de da de
People on streets
Ee da de da de da de da
[Chorus: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
It's the terror of knowing what the world is about
Watching some good friends screaming
'Let me out'
Pray tomorrow gets me higher, high
Pressure on people, people on streets
[Bridge: David Bowie & Freddie Mercury]
Turned away from it all like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love but it's so slashed and torn
Why - why - why?
Love, love, love, love, love
Insanity laughs under pressure we're breaking
[Verse 3: Freddie Mercury]
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love
Give love, give love, give love, give love, give love?
[Outro: David Bowie]
Because love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the (people on streets) edge of the night
And love (people on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves

David bowie...
Yes, is perfect!
The absolute best collaboration song between a rock band and a solo singer is what this song is.
Under pressure and Bohemian Rhapsody have to be considered two of the greatest rock songs of all time in my opinion.
I want to break free
There’s a reason people compare headphones with Bohemian Rhapsody! Arguably the greatest musical recording ever.
Hmmm that's a heavy opinion you have there
@v king bohemian rhapsody is considered one of queens number 1 songs and is litterly considered one of the best songs ever created along with other artists like the Beatles or elvis
It's a hard life❤️
R.I.P Freddie Mercury
R.I.P David Bowie

I hope They sing there without limit...
I really can't think of a more legendary duet in the history of rock music. Can you guys?

Funfact: The solo part between Freddy and Bowie, was done in different room and they can’t hear what the other one sings, because they have different song in mind and wanted to put it together, hence Under Pressure was created.
John Deacon actually made the beat for them. They all went out to eat and then John forgot it and Roger remembered it since he liked it so much
Epic
@@bigtuna9870 right, deacy forgot it when they ate pizza lmao cute
Apparently Bowie cheated and sneaked in on Mercury undetected, hence the perfection in their different approach. Freddie actually set the tone for the song Bowie fitted his part to what he heard Freddie start/complete. The actual fun fact is Bowie felt the pressure, Freddie was oblivious he was listening to him. Either way it's a great track, we are still listening to.
*FREDDIE
I was born on 1974, have a 9 year older brother. I have so much to thank him, because he introduced me great music and artists such as this one
My god - musical perfection was achieved 2:43-4:00. Just so incredible having Freddie and Bowie together collaborating on this timeless masterpiece.

somewhere in suburbia, there's a twenty year old sitting in a cold garage with a guitar, practicing riffs from a song that is older than he is.

I miss Freddie. I really wish he was still alive. My favorite singer in the world. Best songs ever.
Legends never die 💔💔
Satisfying Videos Miller sadly he probably would die of old age because the average American male only lives to be 79 and he was born in the 1940s
Satisfying Videos Miller relatable
Post_Apple he was born in the Midwestern area near Africa and moved away due to a war at his home land and migrated to the UK 🇬🇧. I think you need to learn more facts and Freddie would be 78 and most likely still alive from my point of perspective. :)))
