As condescending as always, it’s insane to me that people are still tone policing the semantics of a phrase that existed long before the U.S. and Israel corrupted it. “From the river to the sea” has been around for years now and was never interpreted as a call for genocide. I think Americans care more about inflation. Food prices are high, bills in general like electricity, gas , housing and any insurance are high! The employee pay is low and NOT keeping up with inflation at all!! Americans are at their wits end and are being price gouged everywhere. Joe Biden administration says that there are a lot of Jobs but what they fail to mention is say that these are LOW paying jobs that keep you in poverty. I hate they keep mentioning how everything is just better with Biden and it might be true for some, but not for all. I'm not a Trump Supporter, but I was financially better during his presidency. I had money saved, jobs were easy to come by, rent was low, food was affordable, and I was able to go on vacation from time to time. Now, I'm broke with no savings and I've been unemployed applying to thousands of jobs for almost a whole year, I'm on the verge of being homeless. So yea, everything isn't great for everybody under Biden.

I think the issue is.....everyone has different opinions. And peaceful protests are one of those that people have different opinions on. Once funding is involved and people are paid to be there.......leads to them to not be so peaceful. The momment a building is broken into and vandalized that's not peaceful. Calling for the death of a race and nor allowing certain students on campus is not really peaceful anymore. And most of this stuff is being done by the agitator and not an actual student.

"From the river to the sea" isn't inherently antisemitic. If you have a county in that area and say "From the river to the sea," like Israel has a country and also says "From the river to the sea", which Israel does say, that means the genocide of Palestinians. What other interpretation can you make from Israel saying that phrase?
But since Palestinians don't have a country, from the river to the sea means a country of Palestine next to Israel or genocide of Jews. Since the protesters have said what it means to them is not the genocide of the Jews, then they are using the former definition. If it means something different to you, as you would only use it to call for the genocide of Jews, don't use it in a protest.
FYI that phrase likely originated with pro-Palestinian groups and was only later adopted by Israeli groups, especially far right ones.

What is between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea? it's not just Gaza and the West Bank, it's Tel Aviv and the rest of Israel proper,so when you say from the river to the sea,Palestine will be free, you are saying that you consider all that land including Israel proper to be occupied Arab land, which would mean Israel would have to go along with all the Jews that live there. Inflation is SLOWING, that doesn’t mean the cost of anything is going down. My car insurance went up $40 for no reason!!! Cell phone bill went up so I ended canceling one of the services. Cost of groceries are outrageous and housing is so bad that I just end up laughing because it’s too bad to even be real. I’ve been stuck at my awful apartment for the past 2 years because I can’t afford to move elsewhere. And I make $90K a year!!
