Selection process considers a compound score of entrance exam, group discussion, personal interview, past academics and extra curricular. Even if one scores a good percentile in entrance exam, it doesn't guarantee that you get selected since the panelists also test you on the parameters mentioned above. Also they have marks for gender diversity, career background diversity, regional diversity etc. Hope this answer was helpful.

Good evening sir!! Is the waitlist number allotted to only those on the 1st list or to all? The reason is that a friend of mine is unable to log in as it's showing some kind of error. It's written only people with selected and waitlisted statuses are allowed to log in just below the download tab.

What does it mean?
@aditi2499 Actually, only those candidates who are selected in any of the preferred programs or waitlisted in any program or both (selected in one program and waitlisted in other programs) are eligible to login and submit their concent form to be considered in waitlist rounds. So it means that maybe he is not selected for any programs, and neither is he waitlisted for the same. Hence he's not able to log in.

Depends solely on your preference. If you applied for PGDM - Core then it might be difficult but for other courses like Ebiz, Rba or Biz Design, you need to wait for coming 10-12 days. Probably there might be a chance that you will get a waitlist number within this time.

@vatsalyes 3 lists ke bad bhi process chalu rehta h bhai till commancement date 😂... i am not sure about movement... but for BD i have seen people of last year batch converting despite of having 300 400 waitlist no. So you have chances.
