Gabriel was traveling with his mother to Los Angeles for a further checkup with the doctor. When his wife called, he told her that they were in Pennsylvania, which would take them three more days on the road. His wife suggested that he bring his mother to a nursing home, but Gab refused as he wanted to take care of his mother.
Dr. Phapus called Gab and informed him that, based on the MRI result, his mother’s brain aneurysm is bulging while her dementia is progressing rapidly. Dr. Phapus further stated that Dr. Torralba in Los Angeles could be his mother’s last hope since it is his field of expertise.
Gab asked his mother why she was ill when she was praying to God. His mother answered that God knows best. However, in one instance, his mother had a dementia attack and tried to push him away because he was a stranger.
There was also a time when they stopped to eat and rest, but his mother was gone. Gab looked for her and found her unconscious on the stairs of an establishment. She was brought to the hospital. The doctor was surprised when she recovered from her illness and mentioned that he believed it was their prayer that treated her.
