A steel patch that is flapping like paper? It is steel, see the tack welds in the middle. This part of ship was not finished properly. Past the speed of sound, this flapping was causing such a violent vibrations that stuff had to be coming apart inside. Aerodynamics was not good on this day.
A lot of this video is just repeated waffling, sadly. We already knew a lot of these details from the same day as the launch. Also, you completely overlooked some of the cooler/more important information about Super Heavy, like that it was reflying the Pi Raptor, 314, which was originally used on Flight 5.
This might just be my poor eyesight playing tricks on me but I love the shot of the booster landing where it looks like the person putting their hand up to try and catch it.
Having witnessed the moon landing (I was 12 years old), every time the booster is caught by the chopsticks I get goose bumps! NASA never dreamed of such an action. Mars, here we come!
bit premature, starship hasnt yet made orbit. saturn 5 went to the moon and back on its 6th flight. hold on to your memorise. Space X is nowhere near as competant and NASA in the 60s
I was 7 when Neil Armstrong did his first steps on the moon and have been disappointed by the lack of further exploration with manned missions since the Apollo program until now.
As is your understanding of thermodynamics. We already know that the Starship airframe is mechanically strong enough to be able to rotate *_lengthwise_* at hypersonic speed, for WE HAVE SEEN IT DO SO. This does not mean that it can, or should be able to, withstand internal detonations caused by ignited leaking propellants. Study up.
same kind of problem the SR71 BlackBird had where the builder determined a that a certain amount of fuel was allowed to leak while on the ground where just the hear created from friction at refueling speed reduced the leak to almost 0 and at operation speed 0 fuel leaks and 0 surface skin buckling at speeds above 3.5x the speed of sound at 80K feet that is much faster than sea level or even 10K feet. taking that into consideration the Starship and booster system has to deal with even greater temperature fluctuations from -100* to read hot in seconds and repeated several times during each flight and with Starship V2 is compatible with both Raptor 2 and 3 the fix could be as easy as a plumbing upgrade
Blue Origin delays the launch, then fails to land the booster..."This isn't good", "Is this a joke!?" SpaceX fails to reach LEO with a RUD..."Valuable data". Can't stand these casual fanboys acting as some Football supporters.
@tonyduncan9852 I have a problem with hypocrisy and casuals brought by Musk, acting as Rocket Engineers bashing other companies. Instead of being team Space.
Thought i read that piece that was flapping was a test article and not a breach. If that were a breach, the interior pressure build-up would've also been catastrophic.
Internal pressure might have already popped it out. Gaseous combustibles, once ignited, and in confined spaces, become accelerated to supersonic and detonating velocities in a fraction of a second. Shockwaves may be generally fatal under such extreme mechanical static load conditions for a variety of reasons.
Probably not, it will be a delay, but not a big one. Though, as more launch systems come online and launches become as common place as planes taking off, such burning debris streaking our skies could become as common. All of these launch vehicles push materials we use to build them to their very limits, failures are going to happen.
Is the Booster going to fly again? Like on the next flight? Otherwise, what os the purpose? After the explosion, it sounds out of touch to have such a cheering video for a failure. You realize the mission failed right? I feel lile I am in North Korea! Unbelievable! Almost sad…

Why post something that was posted days ago. Click bait is what this is called. Regurgitated crap. Just reported you as not genuine and un subscribed. Money must be your only motivation. No thanks
The SpaceX band failure was the most significant failure that occurred during flight seven. After the starship second stage exploded, SpaceX management cut the live feed and essentially ran away and hid like small children. Considering that people on the ground and in commercial airlines were in danger for quite some time after SpaceX cut their lot of feed, SpaceX management should be roundly criticized for not using their live feed to warn people on the ground and in commercial airlines, and to let people know exactly what happened. Having a rocket explode at this stage of development is no shame, trying to run away from it and not doing your duty to inform People correctly is a crime.
Rubbish, the debris response area is the responsibility of the FAA to administer. SpaceX was required to advise the FAA who have mechanisms in place to provide the appropriate warnings to flight corridors and ground response units. Continuing the feed would have been in poor taste and the best thing SpaceX could do was assign all the appropriate resources to investigation of the failures as well as coordinating dorectly with the FAA and any appropriate response teams. There was unlikely to be any useful or timely information they could have provided on a live stream anyway.
@. Are you really going to use that as an answer? Does the cost not matter? Not only in the starship but the cost to your clients in the payload? It may have been just a test but it could have been a successful mission if they had checked ten times and readied once. It was in front of the camera. How was it supposed to be missed? Do you not have drones with cameras, temperature monitoring equipment and such like? You are Space X. You’re welcome Elon. 🇬🇧💪✊
@ . Don’t do rockets. Could do. But no point. To much junk up there as it is. Not as much as your mouth but junk non the less. Especially with such a genius name as Crispy mofo. Pure brilliance there. 👍

I watch him he's great

Too much AI writing

so 5mins and 24 secs of stuff we already knew , theres no need for repeating what you have already done in previous videos and also we already know
i found this to also start getting very repetitive.
Going to ignore this channel. Repeated BS just for clicks and monetary. Really useless.

No. SpaceX will find the cause and fix it, whether it be a design of manufacturing failure.
