Loved these Sony systems back in the day, i never could afford one myself but i know two of my friends had these systems and once they got loud, those neighbours would come knocking every time :) thanks for saving it from the scrap and letting it live and do what it was built to do
@XPLOSIVization Exactly maan, you made my day :D, I remember how my neighbour living under me was knocking literally every day :D I had Kenwood XD-752, but in black color and I still have it but I'm not using it, I'm using studio monitors which don't take so much room.. that "mini" system is big AF :-D. Really, these high end mini systems had so much power those days and really good sound quality, so it was pure fun to listen to it... What I remeber, I was listening Prodigy, Guano Apes, Bloodhound Gang, Limp Bizkit, Eminem, Kosheen, some techno like Jeff Mills, Takaaki Itoh, Mauro Picotto Baguette :D .. Lot of good memories, thank you for reminding it to me :)
The bass from those yellow subs on the bottom of the speakers were amazing - you truly need to be in the same room as them however to fully appreciate how good they sounded while listening to dance music etc. Legendary hi-fi system from Sony back in the day !

Every country need some men like this guy, he really is a gem of mechanics, loves what he is capable of doing and seeing him restore these beautiful devices is a treat to watch. I love these music systems as these were marvels of electronics in their time, really made with lots of mind put in to make it happen. Amazing sound quality and functionality. ❤
@ELPCOTILLION-SD1970 The market for these kinds of bookshelf stero systems is dead in the US unfortunately. They've been usurped by Bluetooth boomboxes for the most part, since their portability makes them an easier sell. The only option is to search used listings these days. I think the Sony LBT GPX 555 was the last new model they made for the US (as far as stereos made in this vein are concerned), and that was almost ten years ago.
Ich hatte früher mal so eine ähnliche Anlage wo ich ein Junge war heute bin ich 38 und jedesmal ist beim CD Wechsel die CD nach hinten ins Gehäuse geschossen. Musste das Teil dann abbauen und die CD raus schütteln😂 Saubere Arbeit übrigens 👍

@@kazimgul7437 Yani göründüğünden daha büyük bir sesi olduğu kesin. LBT90, orijinal hoparlörleriyle çok temiz ve yüksek ses veriyor. Ama bana low frekansları biraz düşük geliyor. O yüzden sadece kablo ekleyerek hoparlörleri böldüm 4 kanal bir oto amfisiyle Low pas ve high pas filtreli bir şekilde kullanıyorum. Çok daha iyi sonuç veriyor. Eğer kasetçalar ve CD çaları kullanmayacaksan benim gibi yapabilirsin. ses daha dengeli ve güzel oluyor
