I've seen dozens of reviews for this car, mostly US-based, although I'm in Europe, as most of EU reviews are... bad. After so many reviews, I still learned a few things from yours, nice presentation, very detailed and including explanations for menus, buttons and options as opposed to most of the reviewers just pointing our design elements on exterior. I particularly liked how you explain each thing you see in the car. Nicely done sir, thank you and keep it up!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and give me some feedback. I appreciate all of the kind words and I will continue to bring more reviews in 2024.
Was not sure about the Silver , but looks real nice. Looking to get either the White Oryx or this silver color. Weird that it doesnt have the Digital Cockpit pro 10.25 it is shown as standard on my local VW dealer's website.
Honestly, I'm ok with its merging speed. It's not the quickest in the class but not the slowest either. Because of the Torque in the engine passing and merging seems to be smoother than my old Equinox and equal to the Kia Sportage I test drove first. I would suggest taking some time to go on a test drive and see how it feels to you. Thanks for the comment.
@@kylespecv3209 definitely lol ended up getting a Taos for my daughter over this. But if the US would get get a bigger motor for this it would be an excellent DD.
Put car in D then bump the stick back again to get S With car in S mode throttle response is way better So much that I keep it there. Freeway on ramps are a bit of struggle. I remind myself it’s a heavy car for a 2 liter engine. Frankly it’s better in long run NOT to squeeze more power on daily basis when considering reliability. Want more get a Beamer Twin cycle turbo lots of boost but sacrificing reliability. ITS A TIGUAN :-)
Changeovers on S are not the same as D it keeps the rpm higher , and it is heavy for 2litre/ ?sorry bro hot hatches are about 60-70 kg lighter these days . It has also 1.5 version but ok I get it tha you got used in another culture
It’s 2024 and I just got one, best bang for the buck value, period

It's a great car. Best value I could find. I only got the se. I didn't pay for black. And it's an amazing experience
Got the white one picking it up in few hours
good review, loads of useful info. Thanks
Thanks for the comment. I’m just getting started with car reviews.

Just picked up the white.
The Canadian version the Comfortline r line black comes with the Digital Cockpit pro 10.25
I bought the exact same car! I love it!
Awesome! Great minds think alike. Thanks for the comment.
I am planning to buy this same model, how do you like the car now? any pro and cons?
How is the acceleration on this? Can you merge on the highway without any issues? Knock on this model is it’s slow. But is a hell of a nice ride.

@DEFIJOKER1 I don't think many people looking at this vehicle are looking to go fast lol.

I mean stage 3 has 500whp do you really need more?
I know its 4 months after the message but just popping into sport mode entering highway speeds is strong and smooth. Plenty of speed to spare.
Missed out parking sensors yh ?

nada, manual lift for tailgate?
No it's auto up and down
Still missing a trip odometer eh?
Is that a CD player in the glove box ??
Lol, no that's just a bank spot for where they used install a CD changer and 2 Memory card slots for the SEL's Navigation system.
Owned a 2018 Tiguan for 4 years with this powertrain. Dangerously slow. Would not buy again. Absolutely amazing car otherwise
More responsive after 2022 , but aint buying a Tiguan for speed.
