Sir heroin is synthetic derivate of morphine and it's derived from poppy plant (latex part) not from Cannabis

There appears to be a misinterpretation of bhang. Bhang is the leaves of the cannabis plant (cannabis sativa). The NDPS Act 1985 does not distinguish between a male and a female plant, as suggested by you. Furthermore, when the plant has the flowering buds, the same is called Ganja. Here also, the NDPS Act 1985 does not distinguish between a male and a female plant, as suggested.
The NDPS Act 1985 clearly brings out the difference between cannabis plant and Ganja.
The cultivation of cannabis plant is prohibited. Sometimes it goes in its own.
Ganja is different from Cannabis plant. Possession of Ganja falls within the purview ofvthe NDPS Act, 1985 and is a punishable offence, based on the quantity recovered an cseized.
If there is only recovery of cannabis plant which has leaves or seeds in one's possession, it is outside the ambit of the NDPS Act 1985.
