Pretty neat that one of the default names for a skeleton looking necromancer in the game is Nagash, the chief necromancer character in the Warhammer Fantasy setting. Neat reference.
Nice, this is way better than the dungeon crawl Might and Magic Three from the Sega Genesis i still own and never beat. It has an instruction book thicker than the cartridge in the plastic case. :)
The only thing this game franchise needed was a Total War battle mode. Like, a full sized battle map with hexagons, and each of your companies of soldiers, mages and monsters. It would still operate the same, but every individual in a stack would actually be in a squad. It could even just be simple models with simplistic animations, but ti would still look amazing, and is totally what a sequel needed.
