I'm kinda 50:50 with underage talents debuting since they're about to expose themselves to the world, but what i'm also trying to think is this is somehow the same with child actors and actresses who constantly show up in tv shows and movies. I just hope the company takes care of them and ensure in their contracts that they'll be given security and not be exploited (because that's against the UN Child's Rights). If I'm not mistaken, South Korea is very much strict when it comes to implementing curfews with underage idols to make sure that they'll not be overworked. Also, with Babymonster, I learned that their members still go to formal schools in South Korea so they do still get to experience the teenage school life, which is good. Blackpink didn't have that when they were trainees in YG, so fortunately enough for BM that they were given the chance to this time. Lastly, gotta agree with y'all that those seemingly "ships" within this group, or any other groups, most especially with groups whose members are underage, y'all have to realize that these are kids. Be aware that shipping them at such a young age can affect how they express and show affections towards their peers because of how y'all interpret their interactions. Can’t compare Ahyeon to Jennie. Yes they’re both vocalists and rappers, but Ahyeon’s skills are superior and she’s only like 16. Ahyeon’s vocals are much stronger than Jennie’s. Ahyeon’s rap is better - it’s not just how fast they’re spitting bars, it’s the flow and tone as well. Ahyeon’s rap is fire 🔥 as for dance, ahyeon wins that over Jennie for sure. Hands down ahyeon is the superior dancer. Ahyeon is also the better visual and has better charisma and her performances are electrifying. This teenage girl is loaded with talent. She literally checks off every box for vocals, rap, dance, and visual. Can’t compare chiquita to Lisa either. Chiquita is the vocalist, Lisa is the rapper. Chiquitas vocals are a thousand times better than my bias Lisa’s. Lisa’s rap and dance is a thousand times better than chiquitas.
