"Love Hurts" which was written by Boudleaux Bryant was first recorded by the Everly Brothers in July 1960, the song is most well known from the 1974 international hit version by Scottish hard rock band Nazareth.

A great number from the Everley's - arguably one of their best. Still as good today as it was 60 years ago. You have been able to make it sound as haunting and beautiful as it did then. Clearly if you're this good at your very tender age, you have a huge future ahead of you.

I'm a huge, if recent (one month or so) viewer and fan of Emily, and may have seen every one of her YT videos. Emily is so gifted (and sings with such wisdom and warmth), and each video that she and her team put out is of the highest quality in all respects. Having lived with the Nazareth version this was a delightful surprise.
Great singing as we all have come to expect. Really liked the duo of acoustic guitars and arrangement. Your guitar playing continues to advance. And it takes a lot of talent to play the guitar that well and sing so well at the same time. Also great enunciation of the lyrics we can always hear plainly every word you sing.

I always loved this song, First recorded by the Everly Brothers in July 1960 great singing, Then Nazareth 1974. I really like Emily singing this song and playing along with a recording thank you for sharing.
Wondered if anyone else was going to point out Nazareth's hit was a cover of an Everly Brothers track.(written by their songwriters Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, but credited solely to Boudleaux).
@Prof_Jeff It was covered several times before Nazareth, they were the first to change the lyric from stove to 'flame'. The Everly Brothers recorded an uptempo version, released in 1965.
