Everything is very relative. Depth, activity, how much you breathe. I've personally had fun in a pool for 35-40 minutes at 3 meters deep with a 1 liter bottle filled to 230 bars
Ive used one of this to learn greenland roll on my sea kayak, it gave me more time to try every single move and get the feel of being upside down in the kayak, being relaxed in the same time
I was actually wondering if this would be a good safety device for river surfing, if I got stuck under the rapids I could have this attached to my life jacket and be able to breathe while trying to free myself. Or just be able to breathe while getting dragged by them in a wipe out

For those wondering why it lasts longer closer to the surface, it is because the air in your lungs has more pressure on it the deeper you go, causing it to be compressed more and take up less space. If you hold your breath while diving, your lungs can expand too much as you resurface if you don’t keep breathing in and out. It is not a problem for freedivers, however because they start their dive with the usual amount of air.
Are you certified? If not, I would not. It's too much money anyways. I got my rig for $100. 2 regs, tank, harness,gauge pack and weight belt. Just get certified so you can save money and your life
I was expecting this thing to be around $100-$200 but it's nearly the price of a set of scuba gear. Mind as well just invest in full dive gear than this thing.
try SMACO i got mine on amazon for about 500 dollars. expensive, but i dont get to dive much and renting scuba gear adds up. i have been using mine for a few days now and it works perfectly. I can use it whenever i want because you pump it up yourself with a hand pump that it comes with. It also filters the air that you pump. You can also take it traveling.
You can get the Smaco S400 for 199, no tax and comes with the carry pouch. But as a bigger investment. I recommend you to get a Yong Heng compressor. The Oil and Tuxing oil, water separator and air purifier attatchment tube

A full set of scuba gear is at a minimum of 1k plus certification is 500 with e learning which is mandatory plus 400 dollars for fins mask and a snorkel. Plus a dive bag and anti fog and weights it is about 2.2k
I got a 1L tank, and the push pump for $250 on bang good; it was a flash deal. It took me an hour to pump up the tank to 200bar, it kinda sucked but was also a good workout. I am also fairly fit to begin with so I can see this easily taking someone 2 hours to pump up.The tank lasted 20 min in a pool, I was going from 3 feet to 6ft. I was crawling/poorly swimming back and fourth on the bottom with a weight belt, with 20 pounds in it just to keep me down. If I had fins and was properly leveled off in the water with my belt, I could have gotten near 25-30min breath time. I am scuba certified and don't hold my breath. It is a nice product, everything fits in a single bag that came with the product; so it's easy to travel with.
I feel like you need to take a scuba class. Or maybe you don't understand how psi works. Idk but nobody is using tiny bottles for anything other then emergency bailouts.
If you are thinking about buying this product, put the money into a scuba diver course instead, you get more value for money. No serious diveshop would even fill this bottle of air for someone that haven't got a proper certification.
At 3 meters with holding your breath going to the surface might not burst the lounges but do carry the risk of hurting the lungtissue for example...please do not put people at harm way...

In some countrys full scuba gear needs licens. This dosent.

I've never scuba dived before so forgive my ignorance but how do you keep yourself from floating to the surface like that
I sink like a stone in the pool due to high body density (low fat and dense muscle like Bruce Lee). though I float with a wetsuit in the sea.
So how long did you stay under the water?
