When there is no bass I like to insert animal videos into my covers, because it's better to watch than me while just sitting and doing nothing. I do it for years now, I have my own animal videos or timelapses in many of my covers. I find it kinda unique. :D Hope you liked it!
Could you listen to it on a better speaker? I mean maybe that's the problem, because there is no delay in it, also I had to cut off a lot of mids, because I used very fresh strings in this one. Pick or finger, it depends on the person's liking, but I always say a cover is the best if it's not exactly the same as the original, but the one who's making the cover making it in his/her own style. :)

this song still plays awful without a pick and with the mids boosted and some delay.
