It's back to Railroad Days Sunday at the Monticello Railway Museum. However, this time it's solely on its star steam engine Southern Railway number 401. 401 is a 2-8-0 Consolidation, built by Baldwin in 1907 for freight trains on the Southern Railway. In 1949, it was sold and performed shunting duties at the Alabama Asphaltic Limestone company before being retired in the 1960s. It was around that decade that the Monticello Railway Museum purchased the locomotive and is now currently pulling trains on select days. For this video, it has a lot of footage from the previous video back in September 2024, except only it has 401 pulling the freight train on Railway Days Sunday in a somewhat different order. Also, from the previous video, there is also a few glimpses of the ride on 401's train.
    Enjoy the video.
