Why is no one talking about how STRONG he is? He literally picked up Gihun with ONE hand, and during the flashing lights scene he was swinging around a heavy metal pillar, all that while missing two fingers.
oh we know how strong he is. He's the "anchor" in the tug of war game. The "anchor" needs to be the strongest person.

Ali is my most favorite character, no matter what I just want to hug and support him alot.
He was kind to a fault. This is a death game and he had a family of his own to think about. There was no indication both team members could survive this round. All this loyalty and trust for what? Because he gave you bus fare? For a man you have known a few days? Forget that. This teaches us to not put trust in people so quickly, especially when there are bigger issues at hand. Even when he saved gi hun, the shaking could've had him killed. There is a time for kindness and a time to put that aside. My heart still broke when he was betrayed. Tough scene to watch.

I feel like Ali’s hugs would be so comforting and nice :( Ali had a low chance of survival in a situation like that, but he had a heart of gold and never deserved to die in such a way.

The moment when Ali grabbed Gi-hun and held him steady was so uplifting amidst all that death and carnage. I wanted to cry and hug him.

I could not believe it when Ali revealed he was 33 years old, I would have put him in his early to mid 20s. He has such a youthful innocence and naivete about him, you don't normally see that in 30-something year olds

Gi-hun after he won the whole game should have taken care of Ali's family but he didn't. Instead, he took care of Sang-Woo's family even though Sang-Woo wanted to kill him. Ali is definitely the most positive character in this series.
I personally hope he does in the upcoming second season.

The best characters died in a way we couldn’t imagine. Ali was betrayed by the guy he trusted. Oh Il-Nam told us a story that made me go 😭. Ji-Yeong wanted to go. That episode hold probably the most tears I’ve ever cried.
