I thought so too, however I completely forgot about it. I have removed the top rack for the time being, maybe I can weigh the same and let you know the weight of the same.
Depending on the weight of your tail bag, it should be able to handle. I carried a tent and two sleeping bags on them and it was fine, should be able to handle more weight!
What saddlebags are you using with these saddle stays? I’ve installed these stays and thinking of going for the Viaterra condors. Not sure how they’ll fit.
@@nihalnaik2849 Yeah, I bought them about a month back. But somehow the right saddlebag is just slightly touching the exhaust even after lot of adjustments.
@@amartyaganguly8369 are you distributing the weight in 50:50 ratio? You can try once or else you can open you double ds which bare the weight and act as the link, since we have extended grab levers Or visit any store which distributes viaterra products in ur area I still use a bungee from beneath the bag its more reliable 😅
I thought you would weigh them before installing! Your weight information for the Saree Guard was extremely helpful!

@@RandomSync7 no sweat Bruv. I installed the Motourenn saddle stays, ordered the Orange ones. Many thanks to you.
Can we install panniers on this saddle stay
Hey, I don't think the saddle stays are meant for panniers, only for soft luggage!
If I use the top-rack mount plates without the grab-rails, do you think a tail-bag’s weight can be handled?

Try taking off the top rack, installing the top plate first and then fixing the base to the bike. It should align just fine.
Thanks for the advice, will try it soon!
Same thing happened with me also when I was installing toprack but I don't know is that manufacturing defect or wrong installation
Wat is the price
I'll try remounting it by fitting the top rack first and then to the grab rails, hopefully it should be fine!
