The park was closed in 2000, and most of the rides were transferred to Dream World amusement park north of Bangkok. Only the castle was left standing. 1. Durian you eat may be too mushy soften the meat and has a strong smell. If you try to eat the meat is a bit hard, it will no hardly smell. Durian is the King of fruit :) 2. Mala sauce is very spicy.

I recommend you to go south of Thailand like Phuket Krabi Surat or Samui if you like beach and sea. but if you like mountain and slow life I recommend you to go north like Chiang Mai , Chiang Rai or Kao Yai (Northeast). very welcome and hope you have a great memories here.
That castle was built around 1995-1997 where Thai's economy went down. The market area meant to be a amusement park with a landmark castle but amazingly the owner decided to save it until today.
