In this YouTriedIt video, I did a first impression and 8 hour wear test of the new foundation by Pat McGrath. It is part of her Skin Fetish line is called the Sublime Perfection Foundation. I tried out the shade MD 24. Let me know what your thoughts are regarding my observations on this foundation down in the comment section. =)

Not knocking Pat but I love jouer full coverage foundation maybe you would like that . As a scientist in beauty be careful with the retinoid products the drying is a sign that your microbiomes on your face that keep your skin clear is being compromised... the ph on your face needs to be 5.5 that product is clearly not ph balanced just saying

Note to all: Ms. Aina spoke to Ms. McGrath and she has confirmed that it was formulated with makeup artists in minds. We regular folks can use it but, just be mindful.
Someone who works with her company gave me two of the foundations when she came back from Dubai, and it took a little to realize that I didn't have the tool or knowledge to apply it correctly. I've ordered some brushes and sponges, and I'm going to keep hacking at it.

👏🏾 Finally an honest review! This was one of the worst foundations I’ve tried. I had to return it too because it dried me out (possibly due to the alcohol) and the color match awful. For $68 I should not have so many issues!
They said the reason it's so thin AMD sheer is because it's for runway model makeup..And they like you to look like you have natural looking flawless skin and they domt do makeup like they do on her at all.Its wayyy too shear for Me.I want the new Fenty Hydrating foundation or The Dose of Colors meet your hue foundation.

It’s probably the retinol especially in the winter the dry patches don’t look very well with foundation. I like the color of the foundation on you though and coverage ✨

I'll stick to my Estee Lauder Long Where that stuff stays put and don't rub off on my clothes. A lot of these New Foundations need to take whatever ingredient they're putting in that and add it to theirs.
I just did a review and demo on the set. I love it! I got it in Deep 32 and 33. It made my skin look really radiant and it wore really well. I'll have to do a blog post with pictures to update on the wear of it. It's one of my new favorites.

Yeah 26 will probably work. I put cerave healing ointment on every night as a last step in my skincare routine. That may help with your dryness.

Ahhhh don’t use chemical sunscreen it kills coral reefs you should try the drunk elephant sunscreen it’s soo good and it works on all skin tones
This sunscreen is oxybenzone and paraben free and on their website it states that it is reef safe

I prefer full coverage as well so I will be purchasing the set without the brushes. I’m a complexion product junkie and have already bought the Smashbox full coverage, Urban Decay Stay Naked, ABH luminous, & Dose of Colors. I also plan on getting the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Foundation because it looks gorgeous! I surely don’t need ANYTHING but complexion products and highlighters are my weakness. I have to at least try the products.

Hi beautiful! Great review. I watched your first Fenty review again prior to this video and I was so entertained as if l watched it for the first time. Everything you stated in that video was on point. Fenty listened to all of you(us) and she came out with the creamy concealer, powders etc. So with that being said l would love to see you review the new Fenty hydrating foundation and primer. I know you have dry skin and oily in your T zone. l'am so curious to see how this foundation works for you . I appreciate your advice and honest reviews 👑🌹

I returned my foundation too. I love the formula, but it made me too shiny.
For $68 I want full coverage. The Natasha Denona is like $50 and is full coverage. I have many of Pat's palettes, but I will have to skip this. Maybe I will try the powder.

I know what you mean girl. I'm having a love hate relationship with this foundation. I just can't find a match that fits me where I'm comfortable enough to wear it out. Something is off with the undertones. I'm just going to return it and wait for her to expand the shades.
