Bought one. Love it. I wear this often moreso than more expensive helmets, my Bell Bullitt for example. The looks work, the venting really works and it is the perfect hot summer day helmet. Come late Fall you will have to opt to something else if you do not run a windshield. Good review.
Bought the Harley version as good value for the versatility & style. They are not well designed for a communicator system though as I shop Cardo & Sena may need some creativity to install properly.
Does this helmet have speaker slots in the ear cups like the Rogue? That was one of the items that drew me to the Rogue, but I'm really liking the drop down goggles.
Can't say for sure but because you can pop on the face shield last that might give you a little easier time than trying to pull it over a huge beard all at once.
Andrey Indreies my buddy crashed in one. Tore up his lip, broke his nose and by the time the paramedics took him away his eye was swollen shut. Looked like mike Tyson beat his ass
@@edurockforever It isn't. Get a proper full face if you like living. Also, DOT certified doesn't mean anything. Look for a helmet with ECE or snell rating.
@@edurockforever Not a problem. To expand on the DOT rating and how little it actually means i suggest watching this suprisingly well produced (albeit a little cheesy) video from fortnine. m.th-cam.com/video/0BUyp3HX8cY/w-d-xo.html To clarify, there are some great helmets that only have a DOT rating (AGV for example makes a great helmet that snell won't rate simply because it has an internal sun visor). But i suggest never trusting a random helmet simply because it is DOT rated. The couple of dollars you might save are not worth having your skull caved in and dying a preventable death.
It'll definitely be interesting to see what Scorpion does next. Lots of people like the style so seems like they'd have opportunities to do a full face or maybe modular as well in addition to the convertible version.
There's nothing darker, but there are a couple mirrored options in addition to the Dark Smoke and Clear. Check them out here - www.getlowered.com/search.php?search_query=covert+sunvisor
It's not designed for ideal setup with a Sena system as you'd lose some of the function of the helmet. If that's a priority for you, it might be better to look at another helmet, or to simply use the Covert for rides when you don't need a Comm system.
Kyle S hey man, just saw your post. could you explain how you attached your Sena 10R? I just love the low profile of both the helmet and that seta model too! thanks man
David Nong I attached it to the left side of the neck roll, which means I can't remove the neck roll...I don't plan on removing the neck roll, because the helmet looks silly without it. Another option I thought of was to mount the sena onto the actual helmet above the neck roll and run the cable in between the helmet and the neck roll...in order to do that though you would have to make a small hole in the neck roll. This was my original plan, I thought the wire could be run without any modifications, but the seal between the neck roll and helmet is too tight, so I just opted to mount it on the neck roll. Also, just fyi, because this helmet isn't designed for Bluetooth, mounting the speakers is a bit of a pain as well. if you have any other questions or want some pics and want to give me your email, I'll send them.
Kyle S interesting. I thought the neck strap was removable with Velcro just enough so that you could get the wires from the rear battery pack to run through. I was also thinking you could install the mic into the removalable muzzle on the inside and then mount the physical system on the left hand side lower part closest to the jaw. yeah man I would love some pictures. They need a full face version of this
@@pointlessratrace7525What is it called?
@@adeebyounis3272 exo covert FTX
Looks awesome.
Should had made it a full functional helmet.
Would probably sell more.
Why helmets are only for the looks🤔
@@maveferdykrueger2899 im gonna assume that was a joke.
Its an amazing helmet, however when speeding, it gets a little uncomfertable, but its an awesome look and my friend...F-ing buy it man.
How come uncomfortable?
@@romet4517 I think the wind can become a bit much, seeing it is a modular helmet. Be sure to wear ear protection.
Bought one with the skull printed on the front. Really sleek when paired with a black gorka suit and balaclava
Trying to find out if the dark smoke visor was included. It is!
Thanks for the through review.

Picked up the lightning skull one today, pretty excited
Hey I just bought the scorpion covert helmet along with my first bike. Any advice for communicator installation?
Looks great, full face protection zero. good luck
not true, there's review on Amazon that says this helmet did protect his chin in a crash. Ok so it's much weaker than a full face, but not zero.
Would you reccomend it for beginner motorcyclists?
Are the 🧲 rated for 200 mph
Красавчик! Отличный обзор! Коротко и информативно
Is there a differece between the exo and the exo combat? Because i can’t remove the second part to get the harley look. Thanks for ur answer.
Can u tell me , which is it in your video
I received one today
Can you add bluetooth to this helmet
What is the weight of this helmet?
how about if its raining? does the water passes through front part?
Doesn't do well in rain.
so is this not safe in a collision as a full helmet, is that why it is rated as a half shell helmet by DOT?
Correct. They should really think of making a full face version. It looks badass.
Yea only snell2020 for my head
What was the name of the other helmet he was talking about?
tell me the name of your shirt pls
Scorpion flannel
Does anyone know , is the covert's chin mask compatible with exo combat helmet?
Are they ship to europe ? And if my size for the helmet was not correct can they replace it ?
This is same as HD helmet ?
Yep.

If they would make a modular version of this, I'd get one! Not big on the convertible chin thing...
