This is right up my alley of what I've listened to most of my life, would have been nice to know about them in High School. But I'm enjoying them now! Any one else relate to that? I remember hearing this song for the first time on Much Music when I was in seventh grade. I ended up seeing them live 2 years later, and met them beside the stage. They were really kind despite me being a cringe fan girl (I cried). Good memories of my youth.
I will never ever forget seeing them live in Chicago May 2008, they were touring with MCR and they were playing right before them and they were one of the best live performances I have ever seen. MCR then came on and just straight up sucked it. After that day I was the biggest Billy Talent fan.

Was managing a concession stand at a local concert venue back in '03-04 and this was one of the bands I had the pleasure of hanging out with before and after the show. The lead singer even hit on me not knowing I was only 17 at the time.... One of my favorite memories of that time.
For anyone who cares the video was taken in the abandoned whitby psychiatric hospital here in ontario, canada. The building you saw them play in was torn down 3 years later after billy talents first album was released. Damn shame.
This music video was filmed in my home town! The place they filmed it in was a psychiatric ward that was from like the 1930s and used during World War Two. It was comprised of like over 100 different abandoned buildings! One of the local high schools has a tunnel that runs underneath the town to where these buildings once stood. Unfortunately they’re all gone now except for 1 which faces the new Whitby psychiatric ward. Lol jus my lil history lesson 😂

i think this is the best song they ever did. it cuts deep. and that chorus just feels so hungry and compelling. They'd been playing together a long time before finally making it anywhere and it just feels like you can hear it. They had a lot of good songs, don't get me wrong, but something about this one.
Just saw them at LTL23. Learned my lesson from the Sleep Token show there and got a spot in the front EARLY. Man, I can't really put words to the pure catharsis of the show they put on. It was my fist time seeing this band that helped me through what amounted to big emotions in my teens. Its funny how you see that pain for what it is as an older man, but this time capsule we call music brings us back to the state of mind we were in back then. I'm rambling. I'm so grateful for this band and that I was able to see them live before I'm gone.
Remember seeing this on tv sometime in 2002-03, as a 10-11 year old it was weird and intriguing all at once. Regardless of billy talents evolution this era was huge in forming my interest in guitar and heavier music.

i think this is the best song they ever did. it cuts deep. and that chorus just feels so hungry and compelling. They'd been playing together a long time before finally making it anywhere and it just feels like you can hear it. They had a lot of good songs, don't get me wrong, but something about this one.

Just saw them at LTL23. Learned my lesson from the Sleep Token show there and got a spot in the front EARLY. Man, I can't really put words to the pure catharsis of the show they put on. It was my fist time seeing this band that helped me through what amounted to big emotions in my teens. Its funny how you see that pain for what it is as an older man, but this time capsule we call music brings us back to the state of mind we were in back then. I'm rambling. I'm so grateful for this band and that I was able to see them live before I'm gone.

Remember seeing this on tv sometime in 2002-03, as a 10-11 year old it was weird and intriguing all at once. Regardless of billy talents evolution this era was huge in forming my interest in guitar and heavier music.
