Israel recently tested a laser weapon system that successfully knocked drones, mortars and rockets out of the sky in what a senior Israeli officer called a “game-changer” for ground-based airborne defense.
आयरन डोम से लेकर घातक ड्रोन तक बनाने वाले इजरायल ने दुनिया में पहली बार लेजर मिसाइल डिफेंस सिस्टम का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया है. इस मिसाइल डिफेंस सिस्टम का नाम ‘आयरन बीम’ दिया गया है. इस लेजर आधारित मिसाइल डिफेंस सिस्टम ने मोर्टार, रॉकेट और एंटी टैंक मिसाइलों को अपने एक ही वार में ही तबाह कर दिया.
